I would be worried with Chelli on the ice at any time. I might outskate the guy and literally every play on the Pens lineup would beat Cheli in a foot race. Sure, he has experience and mostly does a good job of making sure he is not out of position but Lilja has been very solid so far. It would be the pain train though that would fall over his own skates and almost give up a goal. It's what makes Lilja Lilja... Still, he has played better than I expected so far. Of couse, I am not expecting too much from him.

It was Bertuzzi-like in the sense that someone swung a fist and made contact with a head. That is about where the comparison ends. Bertuzzi just about killed his opponent. Also, compared to Bertuzzi, I am convinced Roberts hits like the little girl he is. So yeah, I want to see the league at least commenting on it, potentially a fine. I think a suspension might be a long haul. Is there anything in the rules that treats a previously injured player differently? I don't think so and to be honest I would be upset if Roberts hit anyone like this but what got me to point of boiling was that it was on Franzen and the sheer lowness, classlessness of such an action. I am surprised the Pens could play such a style without Laroque being in the lineup.

Maltby has far outplayed Mac so far in the playoffs, so I would be disappointed if Babcock puts Mac in just to fight someone. We have enough guys on the team that can put a hard hit on a guy if necessary and Drake isn't affraid to drop the gloves if needed. Mac is too slow to keep up with anyone on the Pittsburg lineup.

1) No respect for the Penguins. Two intentional shots on Franzen's head (Roberts and Whitney) and an intentional shot on Osgood (though that was far less then what it looked to be, but it was the cherry to top it all off). 2) I hope someone takes Roberts head off next game. Of course not literally but if Kronners sees the guy skating with his head down...BOOM. Otherwise, the Drake needs to drop the gloves on him. What a dirty little f&%?er. 3) Franzen scores 3 next game to bury the Pens. Wishful thinking but man that would be sweet.

Ozzie has always been my favorite goalie. He never was the best and at time gave up stupid goals, but you knew he had heart and soul and he loved playing hockey and for this team. I would have no hesitation to play the guy game 7, OT, stanley cup final. Ozzie is the man!

Good lord, HD makes a huge difference. Everytime I am forced to watch non-HD I realize just how big a difference is. Not just in clarity but in overall amount of angle on the picture. You can see like half of the ice on HD when they pan out instead of just barely the offensive zone. I have a 42" Sony that I got as an open item at Best Buy for a price I couldn't resist. No sound system worth mentioning YET.

I generally like wheat beers the best. My favorite style is Hefeweizen. I am happy that my local Central Market has one of my favorite ones in stock, which is Franziskaner. I also like Erdigner, Weihenstephaner, Ayinger...really, any Bavarian Hefeweizen will do. I have to to buy a bottled American variant that was worth the money. However, BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse (they have them all over Texas and other states I am sure) brews a very good Hefeweizen, so if you are ever hanging out there, don't hesitate to get it. I am also a fan of the Kristallweizen variant, which is nothing but a filtered Hefeweizen without the yeast in the bottle. As a native German I am also somewhat of a fan of Pilsner beers. These are completely different in the US, I have no clue why a "beer" like Miller Lite calls itself a true Pilsner...meh! Most people don't like these types of beer because a Pils is very hoppy and tends to be bitter to many people. However, it usually has a pleasant aftertaste and it is the most favorite style of beer in Germany. One of my favorite locals from German is "Torgauer Landbier". I think it is basically an unfiltered wheat beer but without yeast in the bottle. Very tasty! In fact, in a few weeks I am going back for a visit and I already told my dad to stock up on it. As far as American beers go, I have had several good ones I enjoy. I like getting Shiner Bock, though I don't think it's truly a bock beer, but who cares. I also like Sam Adams, they actually seem to drop a serious amount of hops into their beer. I had Anchor Steam before as well which was good. :beerbuddy:

I buy Powerade anyway because it is cheaper and essentially the same thing. Probably because Powerade doesn't waste money on sending big checks to celebs for every damn sport that ever existed. Besides that, Powerade bottles or so much easier to open than Gatorade. I mean, come on, you freakin exert yourself until you need a drink and then you are expected to work your tail off to open the damn Gatorade bottle! Did nobody think of this? Powerade bottles snap right open even if you are tired.

I think in general most sport venues don't allow video cameras AND still cameras with wide-zoom (or whatever the heck they are called) lenses. In most cases you ought to be able to bring the usual consumer-type cameras in. Not that I have ever been to JLA.

Amen! Someone seems to have more of a personal bone to pick with the Pens.... I for one am glad to see their franchise, at the brink of being sold to some kindergarten fluff town in Cali or Oregon staying in Pittsburg, turning things around, and now being in the SC finals. I am not sure if someone told you this before, but the point of the draft is to give those teams at the bottom of the barrel a chance to improve...for cheap...and a chance to keep the talent for at least a few years. Yeah, that's why they have it in the NFL and NBA in the same way, cause, well, the franchises that were bad when you grew up want to win at least at some point in their lives, ya know? Like remember how pitiful the Indy Colts used to be? Or the Bengals? Of course, there are teams like the retard-Lions that could be given 20 picks in the first round and they'd still end up with 20 receivers that are probably worth a look late in the 2nd round (exaggeration!)
