How'd he end up with 4 ties in the playoffs???

Doesn't matter what Turco says - fact of the matter is that that was no interference call. Any ref you play the replay to will say there is no way in bloddy hell that that is interference. He didn't as much as skate through the crease, he was not standing in it, and he did not touch the goalie. He stood in front of Turco but then since when is screening illegal! That call was absolutely unacceptable.

What's there to complain about? All three calls were what they were called to be. Dallas pins us in and sooner or later someone will make a mistake. McCarthy's penalty was uncessary but that's not the refs fault. No reason for McCarthy to hold the damn stick in that situation. We are lucky he didn't get called for playing the puck with a broken stick, though he got the benefit of the doubt there (and correctly so, I think). Wings need to step up.

For him to step up in the playoffs and play the way he does, he needs to stay. He obviously has talent and with experience and coaching he should grow into a very solid player. I wouldn't call him the next Dats, the is asking a lot of the guy, but if he truely is that good, then awesome! I am thinking he will see extended playing time on the team starting next year and depending on how he does, he might be a regular on the roster. He is decent with faceoffs, has speed, and isn't affraid to get/give hits. Very impresed with him so far.

I am sure there were a lot of emotions in the locker room after Game 2. I wouldn't make too much of it. Turco is a great guy but the Wings have owned him all his career. I think if you asked him after Game 3 about the Wing's character he'd retract from that last statement. He'll finish his career in Detroit anyway.

Morrow is absolutely crazy. That was one of the biggest hits I've ever seen (legal). Michalek needed a LONG time to get up from that one. Whew...haven't heard anything but I hope he's alright.

7-0 for sure, it shouldn't even be a discussion. Tonight's game was great but against a banged up Avs team that could do way better. Just imagine how we would look without Lids, Dats, and Hank...the Avs had major injuries during this series which was the main reason this turned into a one-sided affair/sweep. Not to take anything away from the Wings, they of course did a great job capitalizing...

Datsyuk is absolutely awesome. I was really impressed with his playoff run last year but this year he's just unstoppable and he does it with such class and smarts. He's an absolute joy to watch working on both ends of the ice and just doing things offensively that few players in the world can pull off.

My wife and I had the same question during the last game. We wondered if they give them to the player or donate them to charity? Not sure, but I came to the conclusion that no matter how many goals you score, I'd be hard-pressed to part from a $20+ hat when I already paid $50+ for admission, $15+ for parking, and probably $10+ at the concession stand.

There are idiots in any NHL arena...alcohol only draws the best out of them. Now you know why those bottles are plastic though if it would have been full, it could have really hurt. Of course, even the idiot is smart enough not to spend $6 on a bottle of beer and then throw it at a player BEFORE drinking it.

They probably should say that goal 1 was lucky but at the time, well deserved. From the 2nd period onwards we crushed Nashville but were unable to score. The goal was luck but surviving 1 minuted of 5 on 3 shortly thereafter was no luck at all. We well deserved to win that game with that type of score. And on a side note, gosh Kronners had a terrible game aside from that open ice hit. How many damn turnovers did he have???

The only way we can win tonights game is if we panic, if Dats scores 8 goals, Babs stays in the locker room, and Lidstrom wears the "L" for looooooser and plays at most 5 minutes. My Lord, even then this has got to be one of the worst standard broadcasts I have seen in a long time. Everytime they showed a bench shot everyone looked like ghosts...yikes! Is this standard defnition truck built pre or post 1970s?

Z will get there, he just needs a goal to get going. He works hard and just needs a few bounces to go his way...he plays well on defense from what I saw in the first 4 games, at least that seems to be going for him.

He did give a pretty sweet pass to set up one of Dats' goals if I remember correctly... I thought he played alright, had a couple of good deflections on goal.
