Why stop there Mr. Bettman? Why not fine the players every time one of them scores a hat trick and all the fans throw their hats on the ice? Next time those damn fans throw hats on the ice fine the player and make him get out there and pick up all those hats by himself to teach him a lesson. Or lets start fining them every time they celebrate a goal? There is no room in this sport for show boating and getting the crowd all fired up. Here is a fantastic idea you should issue the line judges those QUIET signs the golf judges have because that is essentially what you want to turn this sport into golf on ice.

Wow the way some of you sound maybe the Duck's fans were right and we don't deserve to be in this series. All happy to jump on the band wagon when we do good and so quick to pass the blame when we do bad. If I remember right this series is the best of 7 games not the best of 2 or 3 or 4 or 5. So we had a bad night OMFG fire them all, they are still human and have bad nights too. Give credit where credit is due. They had a couple players that hadn't scored in a while and they stepped up and put a couple in the back of the net be it bad goals or not. We didn't get routed either we stepped up and met the challenge we just didn't score as much to bad, we can't win them all. You didn't actually expect them to roll over after they lost Pronger did you? One player doesn't make the team, they still have a good hockey club with out Pronger in the line up. We still have 2 games to win so lets focus on those instead and credit our boys for not giving up.

I'm glad the NHL finally got something right, but his suspension should be longer. This in no way punishes him just his team. When he raised his arm up and put it on the back of Homer's head to smear it across the glass it became intentional and should be treated as such. It's no different then McLennan trying to hit a home run on Franzen. To many times these so called "Stars" of the game get away with just a slap on the wrist. What is that saying for the sport and teaching young players.

Its obvious that your eye doctor is the same as the officials, because your just as blind as they are. The lazy bastards had no damn problem blowing the whistle after that. Any time even motion toward the puck they blew it dead even when he was trying to keep it in play or didn't you watch the same game. If the Ducks players weren't blowing the refs in between periods you would be.

No but a little support would be nice from a former team mate. No one I have seen ever gives the Wings there due, even the 2 chuckle heads on what is suppose to be FSN Detroit barely give the team credit.
