No! I'm busy on Tuesday nights! C'mon Flyers, take a game! But I think regardless they will want at least game on Saturday on NBC, so Tue, Thur, Sat, schedule is what I expect.

So I really really hope that: A) the Wings wrap it up tonight in Dallas with another sweep B) the Flyers steal at least one game to give Franzen a little more time to recover- cuz it doesn't sound like he is ready for action just yet. -

Same here. I have this Red Wings sign that lights up red... hung it over my tv starting with Game 5 against Nashville. Undefeated with that bad boy. Enough to make me superstitious Oh how I'd love Ozzy to shut out the Stars tonight.

Yeah... that pic shows it was.. but the angles on video were inconclusive to over-turn the on ice call. Plus the Penguins had soooooo many other calls in their favor/against Philly that I don't feel one bit bad for them. I despise the Flyers and I still think they got jobbed on some bad calls.

Dude, I'm in complete agreement. I'd just like a neutral broadcast. But it seems like it's either about how great Dallas has been, or what they need to do to win. Maybe VS just likes the underdog angle. I dunno. I did switch over to redwings.com online radio.. but the lag was like 90 seconds. Although maybe I'd still prefer that. haha.

That's my wish as well. I might've been biased since I was cheering for the Rangers, but it really seemed to me like the Pens got most of the calls their way that entire series. Some pretty bad ones at that. -

hahaha. I've been tempted to bring a broom too. I just try not to be too obnoxious of an out of town fan. That is a pet peeve of mine.

I thought I'd revive this thread cuz I'm seriously considering doing it tonight. Problem is I don't have time to boil an octopus. So hopefully I can find an octopus, pre-boiled, sneak it in the Pepsi Can, hope for a 3rd period goal, and sneak into the lower lever (I have nosebleed seats), and not get lynched by Avs fans. haha. Anybody on here done this in enemy territory?

If I have time, I might track down one of those Asian markets or whatever they are called and buy an octopus . But I have a lot of stuff to take care of before the game tonight. Anybody on here ever strap one to them? How bad do they smell? How much do they cost? I was thinking: undershirt saranwrap octopus saranwrap jersey But i'd have to have that dead animal on me til the 3rd period cuz I imagine I'd get kicked out...

I'm going with a few buddies. Thinking about bringing an octopus to throw in the 3rd period (hopefully the Wings score in the 3rd). Where do you get them at? I don't know if I have time after work to go octopi shopping or not, but man, that'd be fun. -

I'm seriously contemplating throwing an octopus at Game 4. But that would require the Wings to be ahead already AND score in the 3rd period ($60 nosebleeds, I don't wanna pay that and miss the game). I wonder what the odds are I'd get kicked out of the Can... 95%? -

Sounds like you're within octopi throwing range I'll be in the nosebleeds for Game 4. Just don't tag Ozzie... or at least yell 'heads up!' Pretty easily actually. Avs fans are sooooo bitter though, it's funny. And most people IN Denver are not FROM Denver..... -

I've been told the Giggling Grizzly (about 5-10 minutes away) and the Moontime Bar & Grill (10-15 minutes away...) but that was more for watching games, not pre-game congregation. AND I've never been to either place yet to vouch for that. -
The Rangers got hosed on that one.
