Mine (I admit I am biased toward Original 6 and simplicity for the most part) Top 5 1. Boston Bruins - I love the color scheme, the logo, the classic look. 2. Detroit Red Wings - Classic jersey- associated with winning(yeah I know, no Candiens on the list), kick ass logo and being my favorite team doesn't hurt. 3. Toronto Maple Leafs- again classic look, original 6, simple. I like it. 4. Call me crazy but I like the new(er) Oiler jerseys. 5. Chicago Blackhawks - yeah 4 of the 5 of my picks are original 6 teams, I can't help it, I still think they are the best. Bottom 5 1. Carolina Hurricanes - I hate the little boxes at the bottom, dislike the logo and for some reason never liked the team. 2. Buffalo Sabres- Too busy of a design, dislike the numbers on the front, just doesn't say NHL to me. 3. Vancouver Canucks- While the new color scheme is a huge improvement I still hate that Orca. And with VANCOUVER on the front the jersey is just too crowded. 4. Nashville Predators- home jersey looks like weird t-shirts and away jersey is a little too plain. 5. Calgary Flames - to me it's just plain ugly.

Great article. "400 liquid calories" for a 32 oz Coke is insane! I never really thought about that before, I mean I knew it was unhealthy, but damn! I had already decided to completely cut out regular soda (throw in a Diet Pepsi here and there when water gets boring) but this article will help motivate. I swear my company is trying to fatten us up. They provide free catered lunch on Fridays and all the free soda we can drink. I'll have to remember that 32oz of soda = 20 minutes on the treadmill.

I've never stretched prior to lifting weights but always made a habit of stretching before a lot of running. A habit I still have from 15 years of soccer. And when it comes to strecthing, countless coaches told me "never stretch a cold muscle".

He was a really solid goalie for a good chunk of his career. Problem was it was wasted playing behind terrible rosters for the most part. I remember when he was on the only reason the Phoenix Coyotes had a shot at some of the games I watched back in the day.

Oh and update for me. 206.5 as of 9/10/07. Started at 216 about 5 weeks ago. And going to the gym is finally becoming a habit. My goal isn't really an ideal weight, but simply to slim down the extra chub and replace with some muscle. They say to really track results a tape measure works better than a scale.

Never know if you're serious or joking, but like people have said, you don't wanna do steroids man. There is a reason they have such a bad reputation. I mean if you're dead set on getting stronger with supplements, use creatine. A lot of it is water weight, but it'll increase your reps, help you bulk up faster.

All I can say is ouch. Go Lions!

I think they should swap logos with Dallas and force them Texan fans to cheer for a team called The Wild and return the North Stars to their rightful home.

This thread makes me really happy that the Wings never screwed with the jerseys. At least the hockey gods have not allowed that to happen.
