I think the very concept of that show offends me.

Looking forward to a pissed off, fired up Wings team looking to avenge that damn Game 7 on home ice. Second place would be a full season of the AHL kids (Ericsson, Leino and Helm) up in the big show.

You may very well be correct. However the majority of the members here probably weren't born yet when that movie came out. Which might also explain why Disney's Bombay got so many votes......

I do agree that the fight scene at the end is pure ridiculousness when they are jousting with their hockey sticks And then there is the scene in the weight room where a dude is doing squats with his freaking breezers on.... BUT, Mighty Ducks had that damned Flying V, knucklepuck etc. I gotta vote Youngblood.

Team Canada scrimmage For anybody that wants to watch possibly the most talented team in recent history compete for jobs. Hey, its hockey. Managed by our own Stevie Y, coached by Babs. Cleary, oh and probably the favorite for 2010 gold.

DITTO I just can't imagine GSP and Silva finding a weight they'd both be comfortable with. But all those listed fights would be great to watch.

USA all the way for me too. Once/if the US is eliminated I'll probably still root for Canada, despite a chunk of their fans being super cocky- kinda like a chunk of Wings fans... haha.

I just don't see Chicago getting the the SCF's with Huet as their #1. I've never seen that guy as a #1 goalie. And the Capitals... I think they are still missing a couple players on both ends of the ice to be true contenders.

Well... now I blame him for us losing in 7 to Pittsburgh. Now I dislike him. Now that he signed in the Central divison I blame him for all of the Wings's playoff shortcomings last year.... I am glad to see that Chicago's previous overpayments (Campbell, Huet) are biting them in the ass. Will be an interesting few years for Chicago and the cap.

Growing up in Arizona with a local hockey team that never won a playoff series (IF they even reached the playoffs), followed up by living in Colorado with currently the 3rd worst team in the league.... well.. it certainly gives me some perspective. The Wings have been insanely successful for over a decade and the result is fans with very very high expectations and yes, a somewhat spoiled fanbase. I'm disappointed as hell they lost by one goal in Game 7. But they had an outstanding season, one to be very proud of as a fan of the team.

I have been tempted to try this but I live on the 2nd floor of apartment complex and I assume some of the exercises involved would would result in my downstairs neighbors (and their ceiling) hating me for 60 minutes a day (or however long it takes).

Man, I've been pretty damn bad since the hockey playoffs started... went from an OK 196lbs to 212lbs, thanks to spending most of the last month on the couch, eating pizza, drinking beer and watching all the playoff hockey versus/nbc offered. So today is my first day back to the gym and it's gonna hurt. Keep it up everybody!
