Growing up in Mesa, AZ.. oddly enough it was a KWings t-shirt that my dad owned that started my fandom of hockey. Go figure.

Certainly a dark moment in Habs fashion history. Although I still maintain the Coyotes old alternate jersey was horrific. And I am one of 7 Phoenix Coyotes fans...I mean what the hell man, is that dog wearing half an old school goalie's mask? and why only half? The US southwest and ice hockey do not have a natural relationship, don't try to force it with oddly bad jersey art. But yeah, seriously that Habs sweater is a bad combo of Where's Waldo and ugly PJ's.

I'd love to see the Wings accquire Neil... One question I have about Kopecky (a name that always pops up in trade ideas)... when I try to look objectively at him, what team would want him? If we placed him on waivers would he even be claimed? (maybe it was timing, but if Quincey cleared.....) Also, Hossa would lose his landlord if we dumped him.. -

While I do think that was almost a Tootoo'esque move by Crosby, I willl grudgiinly admit that it appeared to be more a frustration move than him just being a *****. But that Semin fight.....wow. That was damn funny.

Maybe we won't have to hear about Crosby as much. This probably doesn't deserve its own thread, but I dislike Emerick just enough to post this. On a side note I don't take pleasure in him being sick, no, but absent, yes. Edit: Forgot the link

The more I think about it the more I realize it's Olczyk and Mcguire that drive me nuts more than anything. And count me in the Pang fan club. I love that guy's enthusiasm. The funny thing for me is, I watched the game at a dive bar (hard to find Wings games in Denver) where a damn juke box took priority and I watched the game muted anyway. At least I didn't have to hear em sing the baseball song at a hockey game.

Now that I think about it, that is my true beef with NBC/Versus broadcasts. The combo of Olczyk, Mcguire and Emerick is what gets me.. All three bring a unique quality of annoying. Darren Pang, Harry Neil and his counterpart that I can't remember the name of at the moment, Bill Clement to name a few.

I just loathe Emerick THAT much with his Crosby love among the more detestable traits. And no, I don't blame Crosby for the media's infatuation with him. To be honest he seems to handle it pretty well overall.

I'd feel bad for either Cheli or Lebda if they miss this one. Lebda just mentioned during an interview that he bought 40 tickets for friends and family. On a side note, after all his drunken interviews after the Cup win it was almost odd to see him sober. haha. -

Beyond the fact that Hossa would never be traded this year, Ozzie's trade value is not as high as you may think (no way Vancouver would take this trade), I say yes. No way I'd turn down Luongo for those two.

I will most certainly be annoyed if they follow through with this, and will be guaranteed to switch over to a bowl game during this. Like previously mentioned, this is not baseball... thank god.
