I've read a lot of sharks fans posting on here about how classy the LGW guys have been, and I have to do the same for them. You guys have been a great group of fans, and your team was a formidable, classy opponent. Thanks for being great fans of hockey. as to the subject of this thread, I hope we can make you guys proud by kicking duck ass

WOOO! Man what a great game. San Jose came out and played a great game, and a great series. They were a classy squad, and made it a gentleman's series. My hat goes off to 'em. and Samuellson, I LOVE YOU!

I think monday night is gonna be rough as hell. I think the sharks are gonna do their best to regain the "bigger stronger" image that they came into the series with. However... I hope to goodness that it will be too little too late and the wings take 'em.

I'm loving the future of the wings D... as for Quince, I've been nothing but impressed with his play thus far. Sure, he's made some rookie mistakes (like biting on the puck fake yesterday) but he's been awesome. I haven't ever been scared that there's a rookie back there. I love the guy

I've always been a fan. and for the record, my friends and I were just waiting for him to score in this game. We were calling in from his first shift. "he's gonna score tonight, I'm telling you!" and when it happened we were like, "I knew it!' The kid's a great player

When I look at Joe Thornton, the last thing I see is someone who is falling apart. Same thing with Cheech. I think that maybe they had some overconfidence coming into the series and that's starting to fade, but that work in their favor as opposed to ours. But again, they're definitely not falling apart. I'm glad the Wings aren't either. Both of our victories have been comebacks, showing that if we play, we can stay. the next few games should be interesting to say the least. and we NEED to win this next one.

I've heard a lot of people bashing on Babs, but I've always loved him as a coach. I think he's more than capable of leading a team to the cup. Hopefully, it'll be us this year. BTW, I love (i think it is anyway) Flips face in the picture above on the far right. he's all like, "what the fuuuu...?"

hm. didn't think I'd see so much Lidstrom bashing here. I have to say, Lilja has most definitely impressed me. He's been very very solid on both sides of the ice, he's played great containment, and he's been very consistent. I'm pleasantly surprised at his level of play. That being said, I still have to give the nod to Lids. and no, it's not because I'm a member of the "Lidstrom man love club" (thanks Reg), it's because it's true. He's contained the oppositions best players, he's made some incredible saves on D, he's been great offensively, and he's done a great job of leading the team. Anyone who doesn't see that hasn't been watching hockey, or is a member of someone else's man love club

the wings are good year in and year out, but they are NOT the Yankees of hockey. Gimme a freakin break. The Yankees are always good because they have the most money in a sport where there is no salaray cap, and they throw their money around to buy the flavor of the year to up their skill level. Once they're done, they throw 'em to the curb and purchase the next big name. The championships that they win are BOUGHT. Yes, they actually win the games, but c'mon. If anyone else had their money, they'd give 'em a run for their money. The Red Wings don't win cuz they buy the flavor of the year. They win because they're good, and they're good because a number of reasons. Many of our best players have been on the team for years. Don't hate us cuz we're good. I'm not saying you have to like us, but PLEASE don't compare us to the Stankees.

Mathieu Schneider, you underrated bastard! Simply one of the most incredible plays of the whole series. and as for you Langer, I never doubted you buddy. Lot's of people have, but you've contributed a whole lot more than BerSnoozy! I basically almost died of a coronary tonight boys. I was literally on my knees in the middle of the sports bar with everyone staring at me. That was even more true when I almost chopped my head off by almost jumping 15 feet into the ceiling fan when Scheids scored. who would have thought that we would be 30 seconds away from being down 3-1, and the series is now tied? GOD I LOVE HOCKEY!!

I did indeed stay up to watch the game. When we went into double overtime vs calgary last week, the damn sports bar was closing, so the waitress was cleaning around me. Luckily, they told me that they'd stay open for me 'til the game finished. The moral of the story is: Always give good tips!
