I guess I agree with most of what you said. The things I would add to the list are: 1) Create more opportunities. We were outshot tonight 21-7 in the first two periods. Many times it was because we tried a cute pass instead of taking a shot. Put the puck on net dammit. 2) Cut it out with the stupid turnovers. It's driving me f***in nuts. 3) somehow, someway, put Abdelkader in the lineup. Even if he only plays 5 minutes, he adds energy to our bench, which we seem to need after being consistently one step behind tonight 4) someone punch Tyler Kennedy in the ******* mouth.

Here's a stat for you: the penguins outshot the wings 21-7 in the first two periods tonight. No way in HELL do we win on friday if THAT stat repeats itself.

at the very least, Datsyuk may be able to put some points on the board. Even bigger than that, he may be able to help shut down Malkin. If that happens, ball game. er... I mean... hockey game.

You're not the only one. I looked at my fiance last night before the game and I told her: "Baby, watch and learn. The Wings will play like s*** tonight, and lose this game 3-2." It's one of those times that it was a real ***** being right. So I totally agree with you. Stupid turnovers in our zone and in the neutral zone, always a step behind (except for Helm, but who's surprised about that?), and not really clicking, especially in the third. That being said, I'm optimistic because even with the Pens playing their best game last night, and us playing mediocre, we still could have won. I don't like at all how the first period went, but Detroit did a better job in the second period of playing their style of hockey. We need to continue the way we played in this period if we hope to win
