I don't know if anyone has said this already... but Umberger has had a history of skating with his head down. You guys remember when he was playing for the Flyers and got KILLED by Campbell? There's something to be said about smart hockey. Chelios may not be the biggest, strongest, fastest or quickest, but he's one of the smartest. Sure, he won't be the guy to smoke you in the corner, but he's the guy who's gonna be in the right position at the right time. I really believe that he has the capability to play one more year, and can be an invaluable resource on the team as far as mentoring young D-men

Red Wings fans have the privilege of rooting for a dynasty, and some of us are spoiled by it. As for Hossa, I can't blame you for being pissed at him. He's an incredible player, and losing someone like that always hurts, especially when you thought you had him locked up. You still have a great squad, and you've resigned the player who I think is your MVP without a doubt: Fleury. As long as you've got that kid in net, you won't have to worry.

I guess the opinions are 50-50 on this one, but personally I think Flip would be a terrible player to lose. He's a young player who shows the potential to be a magician later in his career with a little more time and training. As far as the whole arbitration thing, I have a good feeling that Holland (speaking of magicians) will be able to work something out.
