How we need to snap this 3-game skid... But I have one of those feelings that the guys like Backes and Janssen are going to show up on the score-card.

    Line shuffle time...

Woo hoo! My turn! Considering what we already have up there: Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Bertuzzi-Draper-Cleary Maltby-Helm-Eaves Abdelkader-Leino-May/Miller Lidstom-Rafalski Stuart-Ericcson Lebda-Meech

Mark my words: Once DiPietro comes back for the Isles, we will be going after Biron. 3rd rounder by the end of November... Can be potentially bumped up to a 2nd come the trade deadline if we're playoff bound.

    Lines Next Season?

IF we sign Hudler, I wouldn't mind seeing the lines in the beginning of the year kind of looking like this. It seems kind of screwy with some players playing out of their natural position, but I feel that the first two offensive lines together could truely produce points over the season with the bottom two giving us energy. Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Franzen Cleary-Holmstrom-Hudler Leino-Filppula-Draper Maltby-Helm-Abdelkader Lidstrom-Rafalski Kronwall-Lebda Stewart-Ericsson I personally think Lilja is done, hence the exclusion. Howard-Osgood As ironic as it sounds, this should truly be Howard's year to show us what he has, if he has it. He failed to show it last year with having a 4.10 GAA in just one game. I say give him the start to prove himself, if he doesn't show anything within the first dozen games, his time in the winged wheel is done.

The only thing that gives me any comfort...

I agree as well. I don't care what anyone says. The league's struggling, and he's our proclaimed savior to the league. I wouldn't even put Crosby this year in the top 15 of Performance Skaters. I think my list would fall like this as the top 20: 1. Alex Ovechkin 2. Evgeni Malkin 3. Zach Parise 4. Jeff Carter 5. Mike Green 6. Eric Staal 7. Pavel Datsyuk 8. Marian Hossa 9. Marc Savard 10. Ryan Getzlaf 11. Alexander Semin 12. Daniel Sedin 13. Mike Richards 14. Corey Perry 15. Zdeno Chara 16. Michael Cammalleri 17. Sidney Crosby 18. Nicklas Backstrom 19. Henrik Zetterberg 20. Simon Gagne Anyway, I'm curious to see what the off-season has to now offer. We'll be back next year

    Keep Hudler in the lineup

I'm crazy about Hudler, especially considering his small physique and the numbers he's put up in the past couple years in Grand Rapids. He's already reminding me of a St. Louis or a Gionta -- always digging hard and being a thorn in the side of the opponent. While I am a little skeptical about his professional experience, I feel he can be a key player in the post-season.
