Thanks. It's really too bad what happened to the Avs lineup. I hope Sakic returns one more year. He's one of the few Avs I can stomach. Seriously, he's a great player and a great guy.

I actually don't have to put up with too much garbage because I live in a little town that doesn't have an NHL team. Though this year because we got Calgary's farm team there are a few dweebs who think that means we all need to root for Calgary. Uh, no. That won't happen. And the Black Hawks never make the playoffs so it's not like there's any good-natured arguing going on with the Black Hawk fans. I mean, really, they can't say Detroit or anybody else sucks. They're Black Hawk fans!

Well when they ask an opposing coach a question like that after his team just got their butts kicked in game 2, he's not going to jump for joy and sing Franzen's praises. Anyway, don't jinx the Wings, guys. It takes 4 games to move on, not 2. I do not expect the Avs to roll over and give up.

Everyone seems to be forgetting game 1 where the Wings barely hung on. I mean, I was thrilled with the way they dominated today, but this series is far from over.

I agree. Hopefully before Saturday, Babs will impress upon them that there are 3 periods in the game, not 1. I could watch that last save by Ozzie over and over though. I'm still pumped about that.

Lay off Ozzie now, all. He redeemed himself with that last save. Actually I think he's one of the stars of the game, and this is coming from a Hasek fan. Wings looked lost a good part of the game, at least the parts I saw here at work, and Ozzie bailed 'em out.
