I am sorry you had a bad day, I hope tomorrow is better haha awesome, we both cant read!

same here, I keep reading it as "Hasek says he will not return" haha.
-
haha that it is! if you ever fly over to Michigan and instead of going to Detroit you go to the other side of the state stop by and get some from me haha
-
haha right now I work at an ice cream place. yeah I am super cool haha
-
well, I can see how that would be the case. I hope it rains again tomorrow so I dont have to go to work.....and then I would be happy made you look
-
oh great yet another website to get addicted too! I am going to have no life at all! It is rainy and I want to go somewhere and I have no one to go with.....
-
ahhhh great, now I will be curious constantly to what others have posted and get sucked into this.......very tricky
-
I agree. I would have been rooting for the Sens anyways, but this just adds more fuel to the fire. (so the point of this thread is to post in it whenever I open it no matter what? lol I think I understand it )

I meant that you obviously had issues with him after you said this, "I respected him when he first came to the Wings but not anymore.. this is just the last straw in a long list of bush league acts by Chelios" that it was the last straw in a long list. I figured that meant you had a few issues with the guy. He probably didnt want to be seen on camera getting emotional and figured he would skip it. If anyone could take that liberty I would say it would be Chris Chelios, and I will let him get away with it because I was taught to respect my elders . But last time I checked the world didnt end and the sky didnt fall just because he blew off a hand shake
-
haha blame me it was pretty dead but I figured I would post what the article had said you obviously have a lot of reasons that you dont like Chelios, everyone has players they dont like. But I don't think we should be getting upset about one player not shaking the Ducks hands. I would be pretty upset if a majority of the team or the whole team just blew it off, but it was only one guy, and he shook the coaching staffs hands. The tradition wont end just because one guy was feeling too emotional to go through and shake all their hands.
-
so now you all know. I personally think that the handshake is a great tradition that should be carried on, am I going to hate Chelios and bash him for not shaking the Ducks hands? No, he congradulated the coaching staff and that at least shows something.

when you always talk Wings hockey with the 8 year old boy you babysit, and after a trip to Nashville to see his Aunt you find picture evidence that he went to a Preds display somewhere and posed with a hockey stick in front of the Preds logo......then you find out that he went to game and actually cheered for the Preds to beat Chicago...... and after finding all this out the look you give the child sends him into a 15 min explantion on how he really didnt mean it and the only reason he had anything to do with it was because he was in their teritory and his final argument was, "My dad booed everytime they touched the puck....." missguided youth.... I want to believe he's not a closet Preds fan....lol

and after watching all the Yzerman tributes on YouTube you decide to make your own, and then realize that there are 5 million out there that are better than yours but you still shamelessly plug it and force your family to watch it..... lol I too cried during Steve Yzermans retirement....I dont know how you couldnt have cried.
-
haha figured as much. that was pretty funny, I did one with my sisters head in it....cant wait until she checks her e-mail haha
-
hahahahaha did you mean 'wasnt'?
-
ahh I know, I was so optimistic! But I can tell you I looked nothing like that after the game.....or since! I am not that young..... haha I took a pic today with a little girl my cousin babysits an I look about ten....honestly it was weird. But I guess its a good thing I look young
-
lmao!!! awww thats like my fave movie ever, I should watch it tonight!!! I bought a card the other day, one of those that sing or talk when you open them, on the front it says "This thing that you've accomplished isn't mearly unbelievable....it's far beyond amazing... it's just downright...." and you open it and it is Vezzini saying "Inconceivable!!" lol since I have seen a few pets on here I figured I would post mine.... my dog Bowser my cats, Sugar (lighter one) and Spice (obviously then she is the darker one) and then this one was taken a few hours before the last hockey game

haha I do the same thing, move my legs in different positions. If I dont get up at all during the 1st intermission and we do really good the 2nd period, no matter how bad I have to go to the bathroom I refuse to move during the 2nd intermision! I also always get these signs on game days, for example randomly hearing "I can see Clearly Now" or "Hes so Fine" (the Do-Lang song they play after Lang scores) on the radio, or watching Ninja Warrior and seeing "The Octopus Man" hold up his dead octopus before he competes lol.
-
hahahahahaha
-
haha I am feeling very uncreative at the moment, but my fave of yours is "Maltby's Malts" haha
-
I agree that it was because we didnt score. If we would have played the whole game like the 3rd.....we would have had that game in the bag. I personally wanted Sabers/Wings SCF.....for the simple fact that I am a dork and thought "Buffalo Wings" would have been funny although I do think that there needs to be some re-thinking or something in officiating, all season long there have been to many incosistant calls. I dont get how you have two guys do the same thing and one is a penalty and one is good Oh wel, we now have next years playoff run to look forward too
-
ya know, as much as I want to just go curl up in bed and cry...I am okay with this. They played their asses off for most of the post season. Silenced critics who said we couldnt make it past the first round, Datsyuk proved he is a force to be reckoned with in the post season. And most of all, with all the "experts" writing off our team after Yzerman retired, calling us too old....too slow....they just knew this was the Wings season to fail right? We proved them way wrong. I wish we would have been able to defeat the Ducks, we deserved too. So here is to next season, and GO SENS
-
oh hahaha that made me laugh! "Why doesnt any one love me? I am the Dominator!" "Ahhhh what is on me that smells like a *****? Octopus attack!" haha wow.
-
I can see where you are coming from with this statement. I have never ever liked Pronger, and if he were ever to become a Red Wing....I dont know if I could learn to like him or anything like that. But then again no one liked Chelios either lol. I think that if he is able to get healthy that he would be a good addition to the team, he hasn't really had a chance to show what he can do for us yet. His games have been improving but still a bit hit and miss, I would give him another season to prove himself and get his game back up and runnning. Even if he doesnt ever get back the form he had before, there are many differnt types of play and he could be just as effective taking on a slightly different role.

I could not agree more with that. Unlike Lemieux, Bertuzzi shows that he regrets it and knows that it was a mistake. And if Moore hadn't fallen like he did and had a few guys on top of him, this wouldn't be as big of a deal as it has been. I doubt that he did it with the intentions of breaking his neck, and you can see even now as he plays he is cautious and seems to be weary of going in for the big hits. I hope that they give him a shot next year and that he stays healthy and can make a big impact on the team.
