There you guys go comparing the Flames to the Sharks. the Sharks AVERAGE 6'2 215 across the front line. They are young and fast and hit like mack trucks. If you think the Calgary series was physical, you aint seen nothing yet...

And if I hadn't gotten flamed from the moment I set foot in this board, it's all you would have seen. But the foul language and personal attacks at 8am were a bit much...

And I think you have been looking at the posts with a homer's eye. Watch my first few posts. Practically neutral and hardly worth mentioning. But the instant I mention Sharks in 5 and why, the foul language and personal attacks start in earnest. You're damn right I'm gonna respond... And I was not telling him what he said, I've been asking for clarification on a couple subjects, which the OPs are either unwilling, or incapable of providing. Such as... On the one hand, you guys say the regular season is meaningless, but then point to the point totals as evidence of your superiority. Doesn't make sense and I called you guys on it. The victory over the Flames is given as evidence that the Wings are tough enough to handle the Sharks size, grit and hitting, but claim that you're not comparing the Sharks to the Flames. The only way the statement make the least bit of sense is if your are at least roughly equating the Flames with the Sharks, which is completely ludicrous. These are the same argument I've been presenting since I started getting flamed and in the same tone, but no one has stepped forward to answer for the contradictions. Why?

Here's the most basic breakdown of the series. Even most red wings fans would acknowledge that, player for player, the Wings can not skate with the Sharks. If both teams play to their ceilings, the Sharks win. So, in order for the Wings to win they have to play great, and the Sharks have to be less than great. But it is still possible fot the Wings to play great hockey, and lose this series. The same can not be said for the Sharks. If they play like they have for the past 6 weeks, they win. Sharks in 5...

Only if he struggles. Let's say he gets shelled in both games in JLA and Toskala relieves him and plays well, Wilson won't hesitate to go to Toskala to save the series. But it's a moot point since the Sharks will at least split in Detroit...

No, this is the Sharks team that was on fire at the beginning of the season, hit a bit of a lull in February, and then ended the season with the best March of any team in the league...

But I thought the regular season doesn't matter now? You really need to make up your mind. Either the regular season matters, in which case the season series speaks for itself, or the regular season doesn't matter, in which case the number of points doesn't matter. Which is it?

But weren't you guys claiming that the Pred were better than Anaheim when talking about your weaker division? So which is it? Were they great or weren't they. Can't have it both ways. I also like how you conveniently leave out the fact that the Wings played 1 more game than the Sharks. skews the number a bit, don't you think? It's funny how far you wings fans will go to try and pump up your team, when the facts speak for themselves...

Please show one statement that I have made that is untrue. The Wings division WAS the weakest. Statistically and every other way. That is a fact. The Sharks ARE younger. The Sharks ARE faster. The Sharks ARE bigger. Hasek is NOT what he once was. The Flames are a WHL team compared to the Sharks. The Sharks DID dominate the season series. The Wing DID take longer to defeat a weaker opponent in rd 1. You claim I speak from a position of ignorance, but fail to show a single thing that I'm wrong about. You call me a troll because you disagreee with me and provide ZERO facts to back up your claim. THAT'S the definition of a troll. Congrats. Or the parts where I point out the regular season record between the two teams? Or the parts where I point out that Hasek is not the goalie he once was? Which part is untrue? Please show any post where I have used any personal attacks or foul language...

I have been very civil. I have used stats and history to present my argument. I have not used personal attacks or foul language. Something not all the Wings fans in here can say... Great, two monkeys side with you. You must be so proud...
