That's the work ethic of the Sharks.... they know they can play without getting rough, and are good enough that they don't have to use goonery or retaliation to win games. I think the key word is retaliate. They just want to win and get it done.... Ducks are chippy and the gooniest team this year, so they don't want to stir the pot too much. You guys are winning with class!

I totally agree. We went through the same thing with Cheechoo being kneed and losing a tooth by elbow in the same hit. The league did very little about it and the dirty stuff continued with Bernier's neck almost being broken by a boarding hit. Again, now you see why we boo Pronger every time he touches the puck in San Jose. The guy is a classless goon, and his old colors are showing through again. The League HAS to suspend him. He's been getting away with this s*** all season. I'm sure they'll suspend Niedermayer, but only for a game.

If Datsuk had scored during Game 1, I would have given him B+ or maybe an A-. He's a great player though, and I'm sure he'll finish with high honors. He just needs to work on English and Math a little.

The Wings beat the SHarks thanks in part to a nationwide referree conspiracy and deliberate tampering of the ice surface at the tank. And you guys didn't win.... we let you. Thornton is in serious debt becasue of some bad bets he placed in the Kentucky Derby, that's why we threw that last game.

I have to agree. The Sharks organization (and a lot of fans) did nothing but cry dirty during the Nashville series, the difference being we actually had injured players because of this (Cheechoo) and lost game two 5-2. article In the end of course we won, and took out Nashville 4-1 in the series. But what if we had lost? Would SHarks fans have cried foul, like Nashbille cried referee conspiracy? Answer is maybe, but nobody remembers second. The only people remembered are those that win the cup, and this is HOCKEY (not Sparta), so grittiness, occasional dirtyness, physical play and above all HEART are going to win the cup. Marty McSorley, our color guy, said "the team crying dirty and pointing fingers for the most part is the team not in control of the series". SO from one fan to another(s), don't cry dirty. Barring injury, I love controversy, some dirtyness, and drama. It's what the game is all about. Oh, and you guys do have Bertuzzi........
