The general tone of Ducks fans (majority) is..well.... lame. I remember my first post on this board. I named a few players to watch for (not watch out for) and tried to catch Wings fans up on a series that they may not have watched (sj/NAS). But to predict a win, to call out all the blah blah blah defense this, offense that... it's a waste. Chest pounding. I'm not naming names or teams, but some teams you can just see the hockey knowledge and experience. THe way people handle themselves and the way they talk. Even the superstition! I would never claim victory before a series has even started. I predict... nothing! THEY HAVEN"T EVEN PLAYED ONE GAME YET! I'm also keeping an eye on this thread... lots of quotiing and requoting to do depending on the outcome. Go Wings!

I think this is all speculation... and a bit nuts too. EDIT: not directed at the previous post, just this thread in general. I was rooting for the Ducks back when Scott Stevens layed out Kariya. I would still love to see the Cup come to southern california. I was a Kings fan somewhat before I was a SHarks fan... you have to remember that the Sharks were around only since 1991. THe reason I can't root for the Ducks this year is becasue of Pronger, Selanne...and well, I just don't like them right now. Not feeling it. I live in Los Angeles, and I know TONS of die hard, dedicated Kings and Ducks fans that do not jump ships. I'm a little confused by this poster's thread, as it is just his opinion. Los Angeles does love a winner, but each team has very loyal fans that have been there since the beginning.

we did. We had the #1 power play in the NHL at one point, scored 6 in a game against you guys and scored a record 9 goals against Hasek (8?). But that has completely disappeared in the playoffs. Gone.
