You weren't the only one. Pablo Sandoval is a flat out beast. The rest of the Giants lineup however is trash, except for the soon incoming Buster Posey however.
-
This was decided in a team vote and Blake got the most votes. Best way to decide who's the Captain IMO.

Heatley traded to Sharks for Michalek, Cheecho, 2nd Round Pick

The Boucher/Conklin sitautions are different, but the logic can be used the same. You say there is a ? with our backup goalie sitaution behind Nabby, but the Wings have exactly the same ? behind Osgood. But one problem here is Osgood has showed how inconsistent he can play during a long 82 game season which gave Conklin a bigger role on the Wings than Boucher had on the Sharks. You're logic is extremely one sided which is all I'm pointing out. -

Pretty ironic you call out the Sharks for letting their Veteran backup goalie walk when the Wings did the same thing with Conklin. Don't exactly know how re-signing Blake is a head scratcher. He was plus 15 during the regular season and one of our best defencemen along with Boyle last season. He had a solid offensive season from the blueline and he doesn't make a lot of mistakes in his own end. Besides it's only a one year deal which is reasonable. -

Wilson just committed armed robbery. The Sharks get Heatley without giving up a 1st round pick, Vlasic, Marleau or Setoguchi. Are you kidding me? -
Marleau is only signed one more year. His contract doesn't even compare to a 12 year deal.
-
Lol oh the irony when the Hawks and Wings are handing out 12 year deals. One trade and the Sharks can easily create enough space to sign a few bottom six guys.
-
Not going to happen. The Sharks will lock up the conference and the Presidents' trophy tonight.
-
Last year was last year tool. In case you didn't notice Ron Wilson is long gone and Todd McLellan has already eclipsed most of Ron Wilson's accomplishments in only one year.
-
You can say that again. lol
-
You're a little overdramatic. A poster was under the impression that Sharks have never been past the second round and I simply was just stating a fact that it wasn't true.
-
Officiating is a part of the game. My complaints about the officiating is very relevant to a game thread started about the Sharks regardless if you like those thoughts or not.
-
You might want to check out who was in the Western conference finals in 2004.
-
Yet there is a game thread for every sharks game here. Talk about irony.
-
Don't feel sorry for the Sharks, the refs handed phoenix the game.
-
lol at some you guys celebrating like the Wings just won the cup because the Sharks lost. Get a grip, there is still a lot of hockey to be played.
-
The salary cap is going down thanks to the economy. That's going to affect a team like the Sharks. It's now or never. The Ducks aren't going anywhere this year or next. Trading inside the division should be the least of their worries.
-
The Sharks could land Pronger at the trade deadline. Doug Wilson knows it's now or never to win the cup.

The puck hitting the glass doesn't have the same sound affect as the puck hitting the goalpost or so. Of course you didn't hear it. The puck hit the very tip of the top of glass and then deflected right behind the net.
-
Seto's goal last year went off the glass and took a funny bounce. The puck yesterday clearly went off the netting and the Refs missed it. Joe didn't look back, he was looking down at the puck in the corner before the cheap shot came. The Refs were absolutely terrible last night.
-
What goes around comes around. That was a totally viscous hit and Cleary deserves to be fined and suspended for it. Bettman won't do anything as usual though.
-
Those Refs should be fined for that pathetic officiating last night. How the hell do you miss a puck hitting the netting? Then Clearly only gets two minutes for intentionally trying to injure Joe Thornton. That should have been a five minute PP major for the Sharks.

Digging in the stats of nhl.com or just pick up a paper somewhere? Uh no. It's called picking up the phone and ordering NHL Center ice to watch Detroit and every other NHL team play. "But for your information most teams if not all, are pretty much screwed if they lose their number one D-man." Wow thanks for sharing that obvious information.
-
It's hard to take you seriously posting crap like that. For counter argument it's very easy to say the Red Wings need a lot more help on the PK if they want to be taken seriously in the post-season. Last year at least the Wings we're respectable on the PK. This year the PK is pathetic. "They're also a Dan Boyle injury away from having a very, very weak power play blueline." Thank you captain obvious. That's like me saying the Red Wings are a Nicklaus Lidstrom injury away from being in trouble themselves lol.

That is not what happened. The Sharks were just celebrating after the Marleau goal and one of Canucks players simply shoved Clowe out of frustration on the way to the locker room. There was no trash talking by the Sharks.
