Welcome back Holmstrom! I guess that eye isn't bothering him that much. We have the momentum now. Let's go Wings!!!

I just noticed on the Versus introduction for period 2, they showed a dead shark on the ice. Is this a new tradition they are trying to start in San Jose? Throwing dead fish? Everybody wants to be like Detroit with our flying octopi because they are badass.

We are playing pretty good. The second period will be better. As soon as I saw the Sharks set up that pass to Cheechoo, I knew it would be a goal. Our defenseman (whoever it was) tried to block the shot towards Hasek with his stick, but he should have kept it in the passing lane. Maybe he didn't know Cheechoo was behind him, who knows. Let's go Wings!!!

Tomorrow will be a good day. My last final exam is at 3 o'clock, and I get to watch the game at 10. Hopefully the Red Wings will not ruin my day. Let's go Wings!!!
