Mule-Drake-Cleary sounds like a solid physical line that we need (think playoffs)

Why do so many people feel like we NEED to sign a proven scorer? We have a lot of youth in the squad and they need to be given chances to prove themselves ..which is why it would be best to wait til the deadline, because by then we will know if we really need to sign a big name or not

I don't care how many businesses buy season tickets every year just to hand them out to potential customers. I care about those couple thousand extra seats that are consistantly empty because of them. So if you want to argue that those empty seats are promoting the "strength and stability" of the club, I don't buy it. Those empty seats just show that there isn't enough appeal to show up and that isn't a good sign at all

I assume that is for ticket sales and not actual attendance because there is no way JLA has an average attendance of over 20k EDIT: That is ticket sales for sure because the Joe only holds 20,066 and that is their overal average attendence So those numbers really don't mean a whole lot

Has anyone realized that Schneider cannot replace what Neidermayer brought to the table and Bertuzzi can't even tie Selanne's shoe laces The Ducks will be significantly weaker this coming season than last even with there two additions

The biggest this for me is how easily a goalie gets shooken up after being knocked over. I mean, they have TONS of pads on when they fall gently on their backs (meaning the worst impact is almost always less than the average check against the boards), then 3 minutes later they're perfectly okay. And another thing, how many times do you see a goalie fall over and need to stop play for 3 minutes after just being hit on the helmet with a stick? A lot. But why can a goalie take a 90mph slapshot to the helmet and not miss a beat?

And the wings aren't a good team?

I'd have to support trading Hudler Think about how many players his size play in the NHL.. not many I'm not saying he doesn't have the ability to become one of those few but for now he's not even close In addition to that, the Wings don't need small forwards, we need to bulk up in the forward position and like others have been saying if he's traded with a solid prospect than we should see a really good return DO IT HOLLAND! DO IT! Oh and I forgot to give my 2 cents about Schneider... We can't afford to let him go! He is pure class and is a pivotal part of our powerplay. The powerplay just doesn't seem to click on a consistant enough basis without him.. I mean did everyone already forget how horrendous the PP looked after his wrist injury? I'm just happy that Holland feels the same as me and the rest of us sane Red Wings fans.
