Have noticed how the Wings' slick guys Hank, Pavel, Flip have been waltzing past #44 and #27 regularly in this series, and the Ducks guys haven't really been doing the same to Lidstrom? He's got more points as well. It may be that our skill guys are better one on one but you judge it by what you see in the games. I think it's clear who the best defenseman in the NHL is... Yes I know the Norris has already been decided and I think's Nik's bagged it already...

My original post was directed at the "topic starter and those on his coattails" Who isn't reading? When you start a thread with an insulting and innaccurate title you'll get some static for it.

Paging Hank: It's begs the question that when commentators are praising their game, you don't start insulting threads like "paging so and so", you title your topic with some discernment and say that they need to step up the point production on the road. They are not just playing with effort on the road they are playing WELL. "Paging pavel and henrik" means that you think they are invisible. That shows a lack of understanding.

The guys who question whether the topic poster and those on his coattails know anything about hockey have a point. Glenn Healy singled out Datsyuk and Zetterberg after the game to show their "compete level" he showed a clip of Datsyuk laying out a hard body check on a much larger D man and deftly collecting the loose puck behind the net and dished off a pass for a grade A scoring chance. Healy said: "this is what the playoffs are all about: bringing it and competing."

Seriously guys, it wasn't that bad. Yeah we had a lot of uncharacteristic giveaways, but it's not like we got blown out. All is NOT lost.

Well obviously this game was lost on giveaways and the anemic pp. Aside from random line juggling, Babcock adjusts his game slowly. They block shots and he still wants to go to the point.
