San Jose is pretty into it...During playoff and the season and stuff all the buses say Go sharks on the digital thing, they have signes onmultiple lamp posts that say this is sharks territory, Even some of the fire engines have fins on them. I think most of us are so into the sharks cause minus the sabercats and stealth...who aren't really that popular..Sharks are our only home team

Yeah...Joe is pretty awesome...haha is playoff beard was so thick when I met him. I think he had the thickest. and yeah its cool when they give out practice pucks. Ive gotten a few. They are all a bunch of goofs at the practices. They act like a bunch of teenagers its hilarious. Like one time Ehrhoff went up to Cheechoo and they threw down the gloves and tried to rip each other's helmets off. And Ron Wilson tries to trip Cheech all the time. And the assistent coach Tim Hunter always throws ice at me..lol..It's really entertaining watching them beat each other around. Another time I went it was Pickle's (Marc-Eduoard Vlasic) birthday and we started singing and then the players joined in with us in the middle of practice. It was awesome...anyone have any cool stories from meeting your guys?

I was wondering if fans are aloud to go to the red wings practices. Cause here in San Jose we can go watch most of them and talk to the players afterwards. Is there a practice facility in Detroit that allows fans to watch the wings? In my opinion it is really awesome cause you get to know the people on your team and get to see how they prepare for games.

I know really..i mean I am a total die hard fan but I would never stalk them. I remember the frist time I met them I was totally star struck and now that i've talked to all of them so much they just feel like my homies...lol Except when Joe Thornton and Cheech come out becasue they are my favorite players so..i'm still kinda nervous around them...but they are some of the sweetest guys you have ever met. That's why when players like Big Joe start checking a lot I hate when fans from other teams call them goons. When people called Joe a goon I laughed. Outside hockey he is like a big teddy bear. He wouldn't hurt a fly. And from what i've heard the red wings are the same way. They all seem like a nice bunch as well

lol..aww..I saw a lady try stalking Nabby to his car once...I remember the practice I went to last was the after you guys won a third game and they were facing elimination. You could tell they were all sorta edgy, but they were still really nice to us.

.I've never been to Detroit..one of the big reasons that there isn't a huge crowd at the sharks practices is because a lot of people don't know where they practice at or even that they are open to the public. But i do understand, I've been to a few where the crowds got pretty huge and i know that Red Wings have a lot of devoted fans that would probably go to the practices,,and the crowds probably would get kinda crazy.

Pronger won't be on the ice, but I guess it doesn't matter..any trash talk having to do with Pronger makes me smile :banana:

i hate teams who injure other teams when they are behind..brings me back to the hit on Cheech and Bernier in the Nash vs. SJ series. Terrible. I know how you guys feel. He looked pretty bad. It looked like a concussion..as much as I don't want that..he was really out of it

as a sharks fan...I may be biased cause I hate pronger, but that was more dirty than Niedermayers. He should have been kicked out, hell both of them, but one bright side, as bad as it sounds, all the cheap teams that have hurt players have been eliminated

yes that is exactly how the sharks are. Every single practice they come out sweaty and tired and sign and take pictures with us. they even sign some whien they are in their gear next to the rink. It really surprises like you said how down to earth these guys are. The players even joke around and talk with us. I remember it was a month ago I met Joe Thornton at the practice and his cell phone rang and he got off just to take a picture with us and sign some things.(that is actually the same picture that is on my profile thingy) Another time my friend was all set to take a picture with Vesa Toskala and I couldn't get the camera to work and I was apologizing and stuff and he was just like it's no problem I don't mind waiting and he was even joking with me about it. Hockey players are the best athletes.

I think the fans would respect the team. We don't mob the sharks and we have a pretty crazy fan base. I think the wings should open their practices more.

aye..that kinda sucks...I think sharks open almost all of them except for the playoffs and you can just walk up to the players afterwards and they are really nice. They let you take pictures with them and everything. Even the GM talks to the fans. You guys should protest or something...lol

that seems like a lot to pay for an autograph. Whenever the sharks have sessions they do them at the sharks store so people buy merchandise to be signed bu the signature is free. And they actually make a lot of money off of it

haha...no I just love hockey..I will be a sharks fan for life, but whenever my team is out i'll root for the red wings. But not during the regular season
