He has been lucky enough to play with the Hawks very best players for a lot of the year ie. Hossa,Toews,Kane, Sharp etc. I think anyone would eventually put up points given those line mates. In games that I have been able to watch, he was always the weak link on their top line. Not to take anything away from the guy, but it's not like he's improved tremendously since leaving us, he's just been given great line mates and ridiculous minutes on a depth depleted team.

No comeback from me, we deserve the bashing we are receiving. Just straight up awful. on topic: Just finished watching the first episode. Really enjoyed it, like people have already said there is not a huge focus on Crosby/Ovechkin but rather the teams as a whole. It's really interesting to see what goes on in the locker rooms. I would kill for a Wings based series like this!

It's said to be in a similar style to HBOs "Hard Knocks" Series. I'm sure some of you will be annoyed with the teams involved (or atleast one of them) but I'm really looking forward to it . Really bad officiating. Maybe I'm just being naive but I really can't get behind any pens based conspiracy theories. If one day information leading to actual evidence is discovered, then I will happily eat my words. I couldn't sit down and watch 82+ games a year of a sport if I actually believed the balance was somehow tipped in favour of a particular team. It just wouldn't make sense for the NHL to favour the pens over much bigger markets anyway. There was even talk about Phoenix being the new "golden team" when we played them last year. Quickly went away when they lost though, funny that. It's just a fans natural reaction to find any reason for hating their rivals. The only thing I can think of (besides incompetent officiating) is that FSN pittsburgh really didn't include any audio with the replays they provided and the war room thought they were simply trying to determine if the puck crossed the line. Pretty bad communication if that was the case, but FSN pittsburgh did get caught doing something shady once.

This isn't an example of Pens bias like some would like to believe. It's yet another example of bad officiating and inconsistent interpretation of the rule book.

People seem to be complaining about "Penalties at the Joe" more than usual this season.
