If running in traffic let's me meet Jimmy Howard then I'm down for that. He can stop traffic too, so no big deal.

My confidence in the Wings being the better team extends only as far as a game 1 loss. If we happen to lose game 2, then I'll go run in traffic. Please win game 2.

Bettman wants Phoenix to win the cup

Wow that must be tough. Atleast over here its just 12 hours difference. So any night games are at reasonable times in the morning for me. Only struggle with afternoon games, but they are few and far between.
-
I had that game in mind too once we went down 3-0. I wonder how this board would handle a trade for Crosby. Would be quite entertaining I imagine.
-
Exactly, Sharks had a good start (Wings had a bad start, whatever way you wanna call it) but after that it was controlled by the wings. Only problems lie with special teams and I'm confident they will be fixed. I still say wings in 5
-
It's crazy to think the wings are now 0-95 when going down 3 goals in the playoffs. That's gotta change one day right?
-
Sharks did nothing to impress me. Unlucky that the GWG was scored on a 5-3 but that's the way it goes. If we can get our special teams going again, then this series is ours for sure. Go Wings!
-
MUCH better period. Terrible calls near the end. If we can kill it off, then I think we will win. Regardless of the result in this game, I'm confident we will take this series. Go wings. Thorntons still a ******.
-
Not a great period. Wings are looking pretty tired out there, but that's to be expected against a sharks team who have been resting for so long. Not out of this one yet. Need to get out PP going though. Thornton is a ******.

Now that's dedication! For me, I always try to sleep before the game rather than stay up the whole time. Even if it's just for three hours or so. After the game is over, I can never get back to sleep. I havn't slept through my alarm once yet, so far so good. I have had to skip alot of classes for the wings haha....it's usually worth it. Especially come playoffs.

When your team hasn't scored for almost an entire game, I think it's safe to say going solo is a bad game plan. Sure players will pull off a miraculous solo gamechanging play, but he was trying to carry the load every single shift, it was way too predictable. He got owned by Hall Gill! I really like Ovy but this was disappointing. Yep this is true. I don't think he was selfish, he just wanted it so bad he forgot how he should be playing, like you said he will learn.
-
No he does have options. Sure they weren't all clicking but trying to do it all on your own is silly, makes the other teams job much easier. A little bit of poise and a little less panic.
-
Let's take game 1 this time. Go Wings!
-
Yep it's the first thing he says in his post game presser haha. Exact words were "I thought we played a perfect game for the most part" I guess technically he's right if "for the most part" means they had a great pre-game warm up or something..

This. Everyone already knew going into this thing that Green is a liability, so it's no great surpise. I feel bad for Caps fans who still have 2 years of that 5+ mill contract to go. The Coaching system is clearly not right. Everyone should just listen to R.J Umberger, he knows his stuff.
-
The real scary thing is that Bruce B said he thought the Caps played a "near perfect game" whilst the habs played a "perfect game". He needs to wake up.
-
Awesome. Your videos are always really good.
-
Whilst I agree he has a massive desire to win, I think it clouds his judgement sometimes. Game 7 is a perfect example, you could see whenever he touched the puck how badly he wanted it, but he would always try and do to much. He seemed like he was trying to go solo alot of the time and that's just not gonna cut it in the playoffs.
-
I'm looking into creating them right now, there doesn't appear to be much help on the interent though. Does anyone on here know how to do this? It looks like they are done with windows movie maker.
-
Both really. Ovechkin tends to shun the media or give poor interviews like this one after losses. As opposed to Crosby who always talks to the media. Fans will generally percieve Crosby negatively because of how much he's shoved down everyones throats by the NHL marketing (and I don't blame them), people seem like they are looking for Crosby to say something for them to get angry about, so every little line he says is looked at harshly. Ovechkin on the other hand is percieved to be the much more likeable character so he usually gets away with saying nothing. Although that seems to be changing a bit after the olympics.
-
I think we shall have to agree to disagree. I can see what you're saying, I just don't percieve him as an arrogant person but rather someone who hates losing more than anything in the world. Ovechkin is clearly the same way but shows it differently.
