hmm, i don't know. I think Draper is still great for those big time faceoff situations, although he has not been used as much in the circle this season. I just don't think may brings enough to the table. I think Eaves, Miller and Helm provide us with enough high energy, tough working play already. I don't want to start an enforcer debate but I think May's fighting ability is way overrated. Draper and May both bring loads of experience but having both wont really work and I don't think the wings would ditch one of their most loyal servants for Brad May.

So you'd drop draper for May? Not so sure on that one.

Based on Atlanta's Kovy and Hossa trades, you just need to offer alot of players not necessarily good ones

My emphasis is that playoffs are a different beast all together. The Wings epitomised this last season. Their defensive stats were woeful, ozzy was terrible, yet come playoffs the team was focussed and a joy to watch for most of it. Infact didnt the wings sort of tumble into the playoffs down the stretch last year? I could be wrong on that, i seem to remember losing near the end.

Fluery has proven to be a playoff performer his last two years so theres no reason he can't turn it on again. Like i said Ozzie had similar if not worse numbers last year but managed to take us to the final once again. So? How many times have San Jose dominated the regular season and failed in the playoffs? Ozzy has been terrible for 2 regular seasons now. Difference is that this year we don't need to turn to him in the playoffs. I don't think he could handle it this year anyway due to his minimal playing time This They are. Why? Recent history suggests we can step it up in the playoffs. Just like the pens. Just like Fleury.

This is a very good question. I hope that he plays them like normal for 2 reasons. 1. Tomorrows game could be a big statement game for the Wings. Hawks are on cloud 9 at the moment, I'd like to let them know who's boss. 2. I'd much prefer Phoenix over the Canucks.

Whilst those are some pretty bad numbers, i still think he can turn it on when he needs to. ie. playoffs. Chris Osgood last year had terrible numbers yet was one of the best goalies come playoff time.
