Wow! Someone on LGW who not only Supports west coast but also knows who Ben Cousins is!! I'm impressed. I grew up watching Ben play, he was something special in his prime...shame how it all ended, he was definitely a hero of mine. The AFL is a great sport and I love it. Since I started watching the NHL though I have found my self watching less and less!

This is my worry. We have obviously seen this team play much better than they are right now, but say what you will about the reffing, we have been soundly outplayed in the last 2 series with SJS

I really hope we can win on home ice. Something has to change though, so little intensity with our offense. Howard has been as good as we could ask for. I don't think we have deserved either game. I hate to say it but I'm beginning to think the Sharks are just a better team than us at this stage. I know the margin has been close but the Sharks seem to be playing at such a higher pace than the wings. I feel like I'm watching a 60 minute penalty kill at times. I'm not usually so negative on this team but it's what I'm seeing out there right now..am I wrong? I hope so.

I'd be happy to at least try Modano on the third or fourth line, but please keep him away from the top 6. However if it's extra speed we want, why not bring Mursak in for a game or two? To be honest it's only our first playoff loss...making a change isn't critical right now, we can win with our current lineup.

I will be getting up at 3am for this one..don't let me down wings! I shall rest much easier if we can take game 2, let's show these diving sharks how to play hockey.

Just finished watching the game. A very frustrating game to watch for many reasons. Wings were badly outplayed for 80% of the time but only lost 2-1. Still like our chances. We will win game 2.

Rightly or wrongly, under the new blindside hits to the head rule, this should really be a suspension. The problem is with how inconsistent that new rule seems to be.

I didn't say he's doing a good job or making the right decisions. But I agree with him being so defensive in this interview, the radio guys couldn't be more smug about it. Everyone can do a better job when it's not their job.
