    Gordon Bombay...lol! I keep forgetting how the entire NHL can make fun of us for our cheesy movie tie-ins. I think we should erect a statue of Emilio Estevez come to think of it...

    I am very optimistic about the Ducks' chances in this series, but come on Ducks2007, you can not claim that Detroit's defense is "weak." Their shutdown line is very impressive, and they have been known to disrupt quick offenses to the point that San Jose would only get about 20 shots in an entire game. I think it will probably be one of the best matchups of our two teams, unless another sweep by either team is in the forecast.

    It's an honor to be welcomed to the LGW forums, and looking forward to this series! I'm sure I'll be seeing plenty of red next Wednesday. I'm actually going to the game with a Red Wings fan, so I'm looking forward to it. I must say though, I hope it's a good series, and oen that doesn't end up in a sweep (2 for Detroit, 1 for Anaheim) like all our previous meetings.
