who duckette? shes the only other person that has disagreed with me and i have had many agruements with her on allducks. I could careless, msot of the time the only thing we agree on is that we both love the Ducks

Im saying all you guys out there think that people in socal dont know hockey and thats the farthest from the truth. You make it sound like because we ahvent soldout 300 games in a row that we arent true diehard fans. My life is Duck puck. If i coudl afford to go to every game i would. I havent missed a Ducks game either listening to it on the radio, watching the game on tv or at the game since oct. of 2000. My whole room has Ducks stuff on the walls and on every day game i wear orange and my ducks pin at work even when i got written up for not taling if off. I eat, sleep, dream, and breathe Duck puck and noone will ever change that

i honeslty wouldnt be surprised to see the Ducks manhandle the Wings tonight. The Ducks have alot more to play for. They played one of there worst games all year last game. Were embrassed on home ice. There top scorer was suspended for a borderline call ( from the Ducks organizations view, not everyone) We missed several opportunties to score last game. Watch out Wings fans this game could get out of hand and could see a Ducks team looking for revenge for last game.

Well since i have gotten here I have been ripped on more then half my comments. But there my opinions and if you were a diehard Ducks fan you would probably agree with majority of what i have said. I really could careless about what some of the jerks on here are saying ( and yes there are some! there on are every forum) Calling me a bandwagon fan when i have watched hockey for more of my life then most of the socalled "diehard wings fans" on here. It just seems like if you dont agree with alot of the people on here then you are wrong. And thats jsut ridiculous because i havent agreed with alot of the stuff said on here and im not coming off calling you a moron thats clueless about hockey and is a rich dumb socal bandwagoner.

I still think his helmet did fly off a little easy. But either way it would have ended the same way because even with the helmet on he still would have been knocked out cold on the ice. I compared this hit to teh Kariya hit by Stevens and if Kariya can comeback from that hit then i think Holmstrom easily comeback and did. Watch out for Holmstrom to get some revenge tonight, whether thats hits or a few goals. He will do something no doubt in my mind. I hope Parros get the call today jsut in case this game is outa hand. yeah but you cant compare Schneider and Pronger. No offense to matt but hes got nothing on Pronger and i say that as an unbiased opinion. I actually really like Matt back from his days when he was a Duck killer on the Queens

yeah to hell with one of the best GM's in the league!!! its not like he pulled off one of the best trades in NHL history getting Pronger for nothing basically and trading an old overpaid Feds for Beauchemin. Signing the biggest free agent defensemen in last 5 years god i just hate that guy

all I am saying is that most the time the big hits dont end up having the player hurt. its the little injuries that seem to get the players hurt for instance holmstrom took a hell of a hit and played later on in that game yet kunitz takes a small slash on the wrist and hes out for the series

See you dont know socal at all. I live in Orange County and for 90% of sport fans out here you have to be winning and one of the best teams in the league to have a great attendance. Perfect example, Lakers sellout every game for last 10 years yet a year ago more people started going to Clippers games cause they were doing better then the Lakers. I mean come on the Clippers? I love them but they have one of the worst owners in sports period. And to let you know i have been a Ducks fan since day one. i have had 20 game packs every since since 2000 and id have season seats but cant afford them because im a broke college kid. To call me a bandwagoner is stupid! All the bandwagoners left this forum after the 1st game of the series. I have been on this forum everyday and will continue to post on it. I stick up for my Ducks and always will be a Ducks fan. I personally HATE everything about socal except the weather. Socal fans are the worst fa ns in sports in the world! Theres just alot more to do in Socal then anywhere else in America.

All I am trying to get across is the fact that alot of people are saying that pronger intended to hurt holmstrom. I think that's an unfair statement. Noone knows if he did or not and theres only one person that does know and thats Pronger. So until he comes out and says it was intential then I feel as if we should give Pronger the benefit of the doubt. Either way it was a stupid hit to do and i am glad holmstrom is okay so noone makes excuses for the Wings if the Ducks came back and won the series cause Holmstrom was out. Also Rob NIEDERMAYER (yes that is the correct spelling) is getting alot more attention then he should be getting. His hit was 100% clean, his arms were down and no elbow was up.

yeah because 90% of wings fans around the country (not det.) are bandwagoners and only liek them because they were good for 5 straight years there the yankees of hockey

thanks for standing up for me duckette hahaha geeeez! yes i have my thoughts about the hit. no matter what anyone says or does i still dont think pronger should have gotten a suspension. that doesnt make me ignronant or dumb its just my opinion biased or not. we are all equals here and should have every right to say what we want and when we want to without being accused of murder. i have never said " o i am so glad holmstrom was bleeding and that i hope hes gone and out of the series" everytihn i have said has been clean and my opinion and how i feel about the situation. you guys shoudl respect that and leave it be without calling me a moron (young guns) is just immature and shows the respect you have for others.

i am supporting my team thats why! And i will continue to support them no matter what happens to the team or the players on the ducks. i am as a loyal duck fan as it gets. i personally dont think that he should have been suspended. i think he should have been thrown out of the rest of the game and fined and thats it. i thinks wrong to hurt the team because of one hit by a player that was borderline illegal in the 1st place. i wouldnt call pronger a coward either because if anything happens on the ice he is the 1st to jump in and defend a teammate

i must say since this pronger incident that alot of you wings fans have been very classless and quite rude to say the least. you guys say that you are so classy and that this board is a great place to chat and talk puck but in the last 24 hours i have seen the most bias,mean, and unnecassary comments ive seen in awhile

theres no way in hell the pronger hit was worst then what booguard was doing during the wild-ducks series. he was throwing legs out everywhere. i think almost every duck fan can agree with me on this one because we have watched every second of every game and know what has happened to the ducks and the teams they have played. frankly most of you are bias when you talk about the holmstrom hit and i dont blame you i think everyone is when it comes to there team. but the fact of the matter is that pronger wasnt going around looking for someone to hurt he was simply following a hit. i mean for christ sake holmstrom was outskating pronger and odds are pronger would not have caught him. it was rob that cut him off and forced a quick reaction out of pronger. you can watch the reply a hundred times and see exactly what i am talking about. And if there is someone to put a little blame on it should be the refs of that game. probably the msot one sided reffed game i have ever seen in the playoffs. the ducks had no chance to make any type of comeback or gain any momentum. i believe it was just under 13 minutes penalized of the 2nd period to the ducks. thats almost a quarter of the game that was on the penalty kill for the ducks just in the 2nd period alone. thats just ridicilous to say the least. yes the ducks did take penalties in the 2nd but the wings got away with a few noncalls that later resulted in a wings powerplay. if you call 6 straight penalties you have to return the favor to the opposite team and give them a chance in the game. just an unwritten rule that was completely not put in use yesterday and makes alot of people feel like all the refs drove a car with a michigan plate with a detroit red wings license plate cover lol

i think thats stupid to lose respect for the whole anaheim team we have some of the most respectable players in the league like pahlsson and moen and andy mac just ridiculous its pronger that did the act not the ducks
