This is absolutely ridiculous. To call the Ducks and their fans classless, and yet you can't even own up to the fact that your team lost. I believe Pronger DID own up to his mistakes after the second suspension. He admitted that it was the right call. So, how 'bout them apples? You wanna talk about generalizing, all you've done is say that all Ducks fans are classless. I've never been a sore-winner. This disgusts me. I hope to GOD that not all Wings fans feel this way. And to think, I almost let these illogical and bitter views take away from the sweetness of our well earned victory. I'm sorry that you didn't get your 10th or 11th or however many Stanley Cups it would be, but it's time for Anaheim to get it! My goodness, they did not cheat at all. Not in any way shape or form. In fact, this is the only team I hear this crap from! And no, it's not because I'm stuck in 'Disneyland'. I'm in friggin' Tampa Bay! So don't try to feed me that BS. I am absolutely sick of this! And don't anyone give me that 'Then go to your own boards' junk, because I'm quite content here. This is so ridiculous! I cannot believe what sore losers some people are on here. I'm not including every Wings fans, because I know of some level headed ones. 90% of the Anaheim Ducks fans would NEVER be whining and crying as much as some fans have on here! You say the Anaheim Fans don't deserve the Cup? Well, with the way the several fans are acting on here, I'm starting to believe this organization doesn't deserve it either. Please, SOMEONE tell me that there is SOME logical fans here! PLEASE! So WHAT if we don't shut down all of Anaheim for a championship! Does that mean that the dedicated fans that we have and the amazing players we have don't deserve the Cup? NO! I'm one of the most loyal Ducks fans you will find. I'm in Florida and I take more heat for being a Ducks fan than I do for being a girl in a boys hockey league. There ARE die hard Ducks fans who know things about hockey. I'm aspiring to be a sports caster and majoring in Journalism so that I can continue to dissect hockey and have input. Not all Ducks fans are morons. We have a select few, but then again, so does every team. Don't be ridiculous. The Ducks are a great team, so when you're able to finish your whining, I'll listen. You want class from us, well guess what, I've shown you class. Now it's time for those select few on here who lack class to try and find it and show it back Go ahead, blast away. Thanks. It truly is! The tears didn't start pouring until I got through the count down and screamed out '1'. Then my legs and voice failed me (to the benefit of all around me) I did nothing but sob. Jiggy has maintained throughout his career that he is a family man. His mom has Alzheimer's and was recently put in a nursing home, so he knows how important it is to be with family when they're sick. He not only missed the first 4 games of the playoffs, but the last 3 games of the regular season. He was benched for the first 4 because of the turmoil he had been through and Bryz was hot. Thats why I think he's such a great candidate for the Masterton. Thank you for the kind words! They mean a lot! I will definitely be cherishing every moment of this!

Maxime's condition is not life threatening. He will have to have surgery as he grows older but it's nothing major. He can see out of his left eye. When I saw that picture, I started crying again. I cried through the entire ceremony. My dad called from some country in the Middle East (he's in the military) and listened to me crying. I'm so sad that the year I move away the Ducks win the Cup. That was so amazing. I cried for about an hour. It was so beautiful. I don't care what you have to say about our team 'cheating' their way there, because they didn't. Thank you for the congrats. I personally appreciate them. My bible study leader is a die hard Wings fan, so I know how hard it is for you guys. Good luck to your Wings next season (except against my Ducks, of course )

You're kidding me, right? You're comparing a stick across the helmet and a knock on the mask? Are you an idiot? And yes, goalies should learn to suck up the little bumps. Checking shouldn't be allowed, but when your own damn team puts the opposing players on top of you, don't whine about it. Suck it up and move on. If anyone whacked any goalie across the helmet they'd be in trouble, but Mac didn't skate by and just blindside Hasek. He got knocked down onto him and then knocked him on the cage a couple of times. Compare to the pucks Hasek gets hit with, that shouldn't be a big deal. There's really no reason in arguing with you. You are the most illogical and irrational person I have ever interacted with. 1. You don't know Mac. He doesn't ***** out of anything. 2. The guy is maybe 5'9" and Neil left his feet, his elbows were near Mac's head while his feet were still ON the ice. 3. Same thing could be said about the Pronger hit. McAmmond ducked down at the last second and went into the elbow, which made it look bad. The fact that Campbell will only review a play if someone got injured during that play is a freaking joke. The idiot should be castrated, if there's anything to castrate. That was a dangerous play. And you think McAmmond has a bad history of concussions, Andy McDoanlds' is 10x worse.

That was little Andy McDonald who swatted Hasek in the face. It was nothing. I'm a goalie, so I know what it's like to get hit in the face by player paraphernalia. That was nothing. Mac is NOT 5'10" He might be 5'8" so it's not like he had some huge beast standing on him or something... We crash the net. It's not a sin as long as we don't get over zealous or start to interfere with the goalie. I think goalies have gotten a little too pathetic in the fact that they whine when they get touched. They need to learn to suck it up. EDIT: To clarify point...

Uhh...Disney sold the Ducks during the lockout. They had been trying to sell them since before the 2002-03 season. The Ducks were owned by the Samuelis during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons.

Look, don't kill me! I got about 2 hours of sleep last night and had to be up at 5:30 AM for my own hockey game this morning. I'm dead tired and I'm trying to make sense out of all of this. I'm only 16 and didn't see my first game until I was 12, so my knowledge of Pronger has pretty much no basis besides being here, so I don't know the extent of his bad reputation. My apologies.

I'm not sure what you mean by golden boy and I'm not excusing Pronger for what he did, it's just that by looking at the picture, it's not as bad as I thought it was when I first saw it. I don't approve of it, I just don't think he should be hung for it. Suspended, sure. If you can give Bert a second chance, why don't you give Pronger one?

Chara has actually had quite a few instances of it this past season, but no ones makes anything of it because its Chara. Really in those pics, his elbow doesn't extended that far out. While it was a bad hit, I don't think he should be put to crucified for it.

You're right about one thing. I have not seen Pronger before this season. Never liked him and I still don't. But, I am not complaining about the reffing. I was merely making a statement that the reffing was horrid both ways Now, for the user who says we Ducks fans are really Kings fans, you know nothing about SoCal. Whether it be hockey, football, baseball or basketball, Anaheim and LA are HUGE rivals. Both professional, collegiate and high school. Kings fans would rather pull their brains out through their nose, set them on fire and then shove them back up their rear than have the Ducks win the Cup or even be in the finals. The same goes for Ducks fans and wanting the Kings in the finals/winning the Cup. I hate it when players hurt each other. To try to put things in perspective and take off my orange glasses, I just think 'What if that was my brother there, or one of my other teammates.' If anyone even came near my brother with an elbow up that high, they'd be tasting my blocker. I hate dirty hits. I've been a victim of several during my playing career and I detest them greatly. The Ducks are NOT goons though. They're a good, clean team. Pronger is just an idiot sometimes....ok, most times. Insult my team all you want. This is your board for Wings fans. I'm not going to attempt to stop you, but please, do not insult me, my fellow Southern Californians or the City of Anaheim.
