    My view of it

Lol your sig seems to be in the line of saying the refs have screwed the Ducks over.

    WCF Post-GAME 5 (5/20): Ducks 2, Red Wings 1 (OT)

I'd just like to say a few words if I may: Congratulations on a great game. The Red Wings really know when to step up and the right time and have a great game, which they did. They came out pretty strong out of the gates and didn't look back. I'm sorry the game had to end for you guys this way.

    My idea for NHL Re-Alignment

I love this idea! Let's submit it to Bettman lol...no seriously, I like the expansions and I like the new divisions...makes so much more sense and would put the NHL on a bigger stage.

"No Pronger, we still won, Wings are done"

Go cry to daddy I aint goin nowhere *****....and if you smart enough to read further you would see my explanation which would shut your PHUCKIN TRAP *****. I apologize for that outburst. 1) Lidstrom(is there any doubt?) 2) Pronger 3) Niedermayer 4) Schneider 5) Beauchemin 6) Kronwall 7) Markov 8) Chelios 9) O'Donnell 10) Lebda 11) Lilja 12) Huskins 13) Jackman 14) Quincey 15) Dipenta

    Anyone else notice.....

Thank you for your candid honesty....the issue for me is that if the refs give the Red Wings a make up call or something: your PP is more dangerous than ours right now let's be honest, so you get a better chance of scoring. Filppula really impressed me last night tho.

"No Pronger, we still won, Wings are done"

The best source for seeing what Ducks fans actually think is on a Ducks board because there people say things knowing that everyone there is pro-ducks pretty much.....On all the boards I've been on, the impression I'm getting, which I agree with, is that it was a huge win for us and that we have a good chance of winning Game 5. We're far from counting the Wings out in this series, considering they dominated us in Game 3.

    Post-GAME 4 (5/17): Ducks 5, Red Wings 3

    Ah...no we don't...

Funniest comment from a Ducks fan

I agree with everything except #3 obviously. Yep he's a Red Wings fan alright...that's my medical diagnosis...might want to give him a dose of revenge if it's available. I don't see Red Wings fans loving their team after a 5-0 beating....you guys hated your team after the 2-1 WIN!!! lol YES MY NO MAKE UP CALL COMRADE!!!!

    Anaheim stats with/without Pronger

If you think the Ducks are going to fall apart after one goal you are on some serious crack.

    Brian Burke

I don't think it would be such a good idea for Chelios to take a run at Pronger. Just my opinion.

    Hasek Save on Getzlaf

Sorry, haven't seen it on this board..... It shows Giggy with big waffle thingy pads....HAHA.
  12. ducksfanforlife

    Hasek Save on Getzlaf

Someone's still upset about 2003....move on. Correction: R. niedermayer crashed the net leading to a goal.
  13. ducksfanforlife

    Hasek Save on Getzlaf

The NHL doesn't go by intent on these rules like this one as proven by the Vanek no-goal in the Buffalo-Ottawa series....it should have been a penalty shot but I don't care cause we won.

What a crock of ... It

There were definitely Ducks fans throwing out excuses after Game 1....I don't think he or I was one of them. Let's move on to Game 3... BACK AT THE PONDA!!!!!
  15. ducksfanforlife

    I said id be back

For a 6 o'clock game during the week....I would have to leave at like 4:00 to get there if I was going.
  16. ducksfanforlife

    Chris Kunitz out of lineup...

No that was perry....this'll allow the Ducks to look like this: Penner-McDonald-Selanne May-Getzlaf-Perry Moen-Pahlsson-R. Niedermayer Drew Miller/Thornton-Marchant-Shannon/Thornton

    Neidermeyer the cheap shot artist

Man, I seriously don't believe you....I've shown nothing but respect for people who want to have some hockey conversations and not get after people for giving their opinion.....I wasn't disagreeing with your original post, I was disagreeing with your response to my comment about Scotty's strength and conditioning....at any rate, I hope we can put this behind us and watch some good hockey.

    Neidermeyer the cheap shot artist

Yep...expect this s*** from dumbass red wings fans....i've held my tongue long enough....you don't know jacks*** if you don't recognize that s. niedermayer is probably one of the best conditioned NHL players ever, and if you notice when he does take runs at people he hits em hard....he's not that type of player though...he may be cheap, but he doesn't try and hit most of the time. Whatever, bro, good luck in the series and hope you don't try and diss me again. I know he doesn't do it...I think that is a weakness in his game, oh well, maybe he'll eventually start hitting more...doubt it though, I guess maybe he's conserving energy....btw, no sarcasm or hate in this post....except for above.
  19. ducksfanforlife

    Neidermeyer the cheap shot artist

I'm willing to bet that Scott Niedermayer is stronger than 50% of your team......seriously....if he tried open-ice hits he would be knocking people out on the daily....he takes DEREK BOOGAARD off the puck(6'7" 270).

    Potential Calder Candidates?

They're taking it very slow with him....he will spend most of the season with the Portland Pirates of the AHL. Note: I get this information from inside Ducks sources/Pirates sources.
  21. ducksfanforlife

    Go Ducks

Huselius is still comparable to Rolston.....I didn't realize how many pts he actually got since we hadn't played them in the playoffs...he did have quite a year. Wow ok I didn't also realize how good of a season Tanguay had......at the beginning of the year all i can remember hearing is how much he was disappointing but.....oh well For your checking line the respect is automatic....they're well-known already, probably the most well-known checking line in the league so.....to be comparing them to the Ducks' checking line is also showing some respect: although I didn't get a good vibe from the shutdown line in Game 1(for the Ducks that is)
  22. ducksfanforlife

    Potential Calder Candidates?

Bobby Ryan will not be with the Ducks most of next year....so eliminate him from Calder runnings....

WCF Game 2 (5/13): Ducks 4, Red Wings 3 OT

I'd just like to say: GREAT GDT...seriously...great graphics and everything. and....of course......GO DUCKS

THANK YOU!!!!! FINALLY SOMEONE SEES THE LIGHT! NO MAKE UP CALLS....I HATE THEM, even if they're for the ducks....it just makes you worry and play differently. I also think refs should call penalties like the normally do on PPs so that you don't get away with much more when you're on the PK.....granted we did get a 5-3 which I don't know if it was justified or not as I did not see the game(heard it)

I'm going to do a rating from 1-10 on how much they need to win the cup this year: Filppula: is a rookie or a sophomore I forget....therefore he still has 10-15 years to win a cup......rating: 5 Cleary: Is 28/29 years old....in the prime of his career...hasn't really dealt with coming close to a cup(correct me if I'm wrong because I hadn't followed Cleary until this year)....7 Zetterberg: 26 years old and relatively new to the NHL.....at the same time has had some disappointment in the playoffs so we'll give him a 7 Franzen: Same deal with Filppula, Zetterberg....Rating: 5 Hudler: Even worse then Filppula because doesn't play day in and day out......Rating: 4 Lang: Veteran...probably has hoisted the cup with Detroit before but I forget: Rating: 6 Calder: been through a lot this season...28-30 years old or so I think and has been with a crappy team.....Rating: 6 Bertuzzi: Probably wants to win a cup pretty badly...was in Vancouver when they made the playoffs and didn't make it past the first round for a while.....Rating: 8 Samuelsson: Comparable to Calder: 6 Lebda: Young has long way to go: Rating: 5 Quincey: would be incredible to be called up and win a cup: Rating: 5 Schneider: has won many a cup but would always like another: Rating: 6 First of all never mention me and Helene Elliott(writer for LA times) in the same breath: I hated that article 2nd of all I never thought the wings would fold....I thought it would give the Ducks a SLIGHT edge...which it has so far...even though the Wings won 3rd of all....determination doesn't come from one year of facing tough teams and WINNING....it comes from losing, and getting so close and not getting it....
