So if you are in the detroit area I would assume it is on on FSD HD because the tigers are on FSD. Not all my tv's have HD, Perhaps Versus will not black out a local game, which they usually do.

Man Its hard to remember that far back! I saw my first televised game when I was young I don't even remember how old I was but I think it had to been in the late 80's. A childhood friend and my self were getting ready to go do something (more than likely something that would get us in trouble) and we had to go to his house to get something and his dad was watching the Wings on PASS which was a pay channel at that time. We didn't get it at my house and Wings games were only really seen on tv if they were playing a canadian team, on the CBC channel 9 in my area. When it came time to go, I didn't really want to leave. I wanted to stay and watch. We ended up leaving anyways. But I was one excited kid when PASS became part of the basic cable lineup. I have been hooked everyday since. Since about 1992 my life has revolved around the Detroit Red Wings schedule. I ended up going to my first game in 98, more like several games, Even got to go to several playoffs games that year and the 1st game of the finals against that caps. I have been to several games since and finally made it back to catch a final game last year. Sega NHL games played a big factor in my obsession with hockey back in the early 90's I can still remeber sitting in front of the TV playing the video game and people would walk in the room and say Detroit vs Detroit. None of us wanted to play with another team . So it was always Detroit Vs Detroit. The best part about it is, Detroit always won!

Its almost game time the old lady wants to watch the game in bed, I was like hell NO I will fall asleep for sure that way. She gets up at 4:30 to go to work so it looks like I'm watching this game solo.... and with my LGW friends.... We need to get on the board early. A couple in first would be nice. Hope fully no OT's while they are on the west coast on the weekdays

had a tickets to game 7 of round 1 :rotflmao: Got my money back for those. Went to game 1 of Round 2, great game and I also got a hold 4 tickets for game 7 of round 2 if there is one.

I blame myself I said before the 3rd overtime. "I know why we haven't won yet, because I have yet to have a beer and that is a sin" then I cracked open a beer and before I could get 1/4 of it down low and behold the game was over...... Sorry LGW! I won't let it happen again.

Has anybody came across any discounted ticket prices this year? I ask because my work offered discounted tickets 3 days ago for round 2 after I had already purchased my full priced tickets

I certainly didn't think we would sweep the ducks, in fact I see this series as our toughest one. I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if this went the full 7, although I wouldn't mind if we won in 5 or 6. It was hard to lose in the 3rd OT but we owned them most of the OT. We are also lucky that in we went into OT considering the lucky break we got on the 1st goal. I have faith in the Wings, they will get it done!

Maybe, I work for HFHS and we bought ticktes to game one for a friend in the lower bowl fairly close to the ice in 127. $130 tickets were $75 for home games 1 & 2 and $85 for home games 3 & 4. So I picked up 4 more for game 7 just in case it comes to that. There was only $1.25 service fee...... Screw ticket master LOL
