I was at the game last night and missed the hit. I was calling for browns head last night . But they never really showed a replay of the hit for the crowd to see. I didn't get to see the replay until this morning. Hudler should of kept his head up, there is no doubt about it. It was not as bad as I first thought last night at the game. I doubt there will be a suspension for this. The only thing I can think of that would warrant a suspension is that fact that both hands were high on the stick and he extended them out. He already got a 5 min and a game misconduct, which will more than likely be automaticly reviewed by the league. If the league wants to send a message about head shots then he might get a game, but I can't really see anything more than that. I also wouldn't be shocked if there were no suspension. I guess we will all have to wait and see. This whole thread sounds like a lynch mob!

Day to Day? What kind of crap is that? This is the playoffs. Not good at all.

if any series has the potential to go 7 games.... this is the one.. I hope the Wings win it before that, but as an insurance policy, I just bought my game 7 tickets :beerbuddy:

I bought a Hanks RBK jersey from nhl.com and it was all stitched. I think I paid $120 or so. It was on sale. With in the first 10 times I wore it. the side at the bottom started to split up and I have had to re-sew it. I also have a custum jersey that was given to me that was hand stitched and have never had a problem with it, much better quality. RBK jersey are cheap and poor quality in my opinion.

That happened to me last year on game 4 of the finals. Ended up watching the game on a little TV holding on to rabbit ears just to keep a signal.

Alot of these players mentioned were traded for rental players. Not all of them worked out for us either. I can not remember what we gave up for Clarke. Anyone?

Great Post In the regular season, there is no pressure on Thorton. Playoffs? Now that's a different story. It seems like the media puts all this pressure on Joe to carry his team on his back. Hockey is a team game last time I checked. Perhaps Joe can't handle the pressure. Maybe Boston figured this out, and thats why they traded him? But right now I have to give credit to the Ducks, who went into the opposing teams tank and took two. Didn't the Sharks have the best home record in the NHL? From what I have seen of these games, the Ducks look to be quicker team. The Sharks just looked flat. I can't blame Joe for this as he is just one man on a 23 man roster. If we make it pass the BJ's (knock on wood), I say bring them on! I'm not scared of any team. But I have to root for any team that is playing against Mr cheapshots team.

Leino sure was impressive during his call up this year, but Cleary does so much more in all areas of the game. Leino could be a defensive liability... But you never know anything can happen in the playoffs :beerbuddy:

I hear that, I'm hoping the ducks drop to 8th and play the sharks as that way both those teams would start at decent times for them. And the Wings would play at a decent time for road games. But either way we have to go out west at some point to repeat. So I guess it doesn't really matter when we go. I just hate it when the games go into overtime sessions and end at 3 or 4 in the morning. Then I have to call in to work sick the next day. This is the very reason why I wished we played in the east as all the games would start at a normal time. I would imagine it is the same for the west coast, our home games must start before people get home from work. :beerbuddy:

Thanks folks, I couldn't find the game on tv, and spent many nights pissed off because I couldn't find the wings on my beloved TV. 901 didn't show up on my guide either, but once I went to that channel it shows up now, and has now been added to my favorites. I'm taking that its not HD channel and have yet to catch a game on it. But a crappy broadcast is better than no broadcast at all.

Agreed. I like the man, as most do. His comeback last year, was a great story. But the truth is, thats all it was...... A story. He is not the player he once was!
