I know Ottawa all too well,i was kidding. I know their D is solid and they roll three pretty damn good lines. They have muckers in Fisher and Neil,they have possibly the best line in hockey,a savvy goaltender,and bryan murray behind the bench. I have nothing but respect,it was joke to the guy who panned Ducks in 3.

I know some have already mentioned Sykora being pricey,but he also is one of the strekiest players going and doesn't back check well at all. He would be a serious detriment to the wings. If he goes into a goal less streak you guys will eat him alive.

Sergei Fedorov is shot. Pick up Gomez if you want a quality center man. For the Hasek detractors i would be neutral on him. He played well this year,but if you're looking to the long term then perhaps detroit should make a pitch for Backstrom. Its a tough decision and i'd hate to be Holland.

For the record i forget about all of you and ducks fans when i go home at night. Its been a pleasure discussing this series with you guys. The majority of duck fans are not jerkoffs and neither are the wings fans.

Even Randy Carlyle said Chelios came over and congratulated the staff and players and said good luck. He said its his choice to partake in the hand shake or not and he would think nothing more of it. I think this thread is ridiculous.

Actually Carlyle confirmed that Chelios came over and congratulated the coaching staff of the Ducks and then left the ice. Its gotta be heartbreaking for Chelios being so close to another cup. I've got nothing but respect for the wings as a team,and i think we all know a few more bounces their way and an effort like they put up in the 3rd and things would have been different.

The wings aren't done by a longshot. They have far too much skill and veteran leadership. They have just as much ability as the ducks to take two games,by bounces or skill as they have proven. I gotta hand it detroit fans you guys don't take shots at your players and live and die with them till the end for the most part. Great site also,you guys really love the game and give the wings faithful a nice place to post.
