UH yeah you can expect to sellout games and the Ducks did if you really watched them in 93-4. Minnesota instantly soldout games when they re-appeared. The ducks sucked but they instantly had a good fanbase. The bandwagon disappeared after a few seasons and then they started having problems with attendance. What i find surprising was their fanbase disappeared when they actually started going to playoff games with the dynamic duo. The duck fans really only started showing up in 2002-3 and actually disappeared after that and left the team high and dry with their true fanbase which is closer to 11,000 then the 17,174 the building holds. They've done much better this year and all indications are they will have a good,not great fanbase from here on out.

When you gotta get up for work at 4 am that puts a damper on things.

If you follow the ducks you might also know they were missing Beauchemin also,Scotts pairing d-man which puts a lot of stress on your defense.

Also as some have mentioned VS has a show on at 10:30 most nights and they show footage of the post game interviews at times.

I mentioned the fact that the Norris isn't so clear cut and ready to hand over to Lidstrom. That was my point i made it. With regards to the hit and Niedermayers reaction i expected him to probably run that route with his answers to avoid any backlash on chris its too be expected. While i feel it was a vicious hit i think one game was a satisfactory disciplinary action.

His hand injury was from a slapshot from the point on a re-direct. LOL The fans here all said tough loss,but it favors their boys. Big difference.

I think scott niedermayer is the man. I know Niks plus minus this year was exceptional but look at their ice time and points and it isn't so clear cut.

I've noticed they do seem to have more features on them but haven't noticed a real bias myself. I assume they do more features because they're in a very good hockey market and are marketable so thats to be expected. I have no complaints about the refs in the slightest,calls even out its part of the game.

The reason they were cheering was it was a hard hit. They clapped for Holmstrom when he left the ice ok i should know i was a couple rows back off the ice. The ice surface absolutely sucks no argument from me,but both teams have to play on it,so its a moot point.

I'm just saying i can sit here and cherrypick situations in games where detroit players make questionable plays also. Its a high contact sport and things like that will happen regardless of intent but to start labeling the ducks team that way is ridiculous.

Chelios has always been known as a guy that played dirty. Chelios has laid plenty of hits similar to that,hes 100 years old afterall.

I remember that series well. You have to remember players zero in on guys also when they know they're hurting that is also part of the game. Not condoning what pronger did,but thats also part of the game.

They are merely trying to point out Rob had a clear view of what was happening and could have held up. Thats the respect thing they're implying and i see where he could have held up. I don't see how it would have changed the end result,cause pronger clearly was gonna finish what he was doing regardless. I watched every playoff game last year and i don't recall pronger running guys at all. He finished his checks.
