I've got one for you. The Joe plays a badass video now before the starting lineups, introducing the team. Very stylized, very well done. I wish they'd make it publicly available. Anyhow, the music on it is "Little Things" by Danny Elfman. It was on the Wanted movie soundtrack.

I'm about to start work on a new McFarlane custom to add to my Wings goalie collection after finishing up my Jim Howard, and I think I'm going to do Ty Conklin in the new Winter Classic uni's, in anticipation of him being the only guy to be in all three. (I know, he may be riding the pine, but it's a sweet uniform.) Does anyone have some clear pics of his new Wings mask? There are some nice ones on Getty, but I don't have an account there. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sure. I need to put together a good setup to take pics, but I'll endeavor to get it done soon. Right now my top ones are auto'd Drapes, Howard, and Dionne ones. I have the aforementioned Conklin, a Spartans Stanton, and Charlie Sanders on the bench right now.

Kronwall would probably be a case of someone they consider to be not well known enough to sell nationally. It's an excuse they use fairly often. Same goes for Homer, which I've been pestering them about for about two years now. There MAY be a white Howe and Lids...TMP is in the process of changing the way they do alternate jerseys...I don't know if or how that's going to carry over to the hockey lines Here's the rumored Osgood shadow, along with a suggested ref photo someone posted:

I'm pretty well versed in McF SP's, so I'll tell you what I know. The rumor mill is that there is an Osgood 2 coming in the next wave that has not been announced yet. There was a shadow posted on the McFarlane site that was supposedly the new sculpt for him. As far as Hossa is concerned...the release of his figure at the time was very controversial because the sculpt was using the OLD jerseys, but released at a time when the NHL had switched to the Edge jersey. Since the All Star figure was the current jersey, it was a Edge jersey painted on an non-Edge sculpt. McFarlane had to get special permission from the NHL to do that...and it was a one-time only deal. I do not know if the NHL would approve that again. Also, with the possiblity that Hossa only will be here for one year, McFarlane usually stays away from those players (unless it's a Yankee or Red Sox MLB figure.)

The Lidstrom 2 will be part of the NHL 20 line, which is due early 2009. They haven't gotten around to updating the main hockey page with it yet. (The whole line will be Briere, Iginla, Cheechoo, Lids, Toskala, D. Sedin, and Phaneuf.) The next one released however will be Gordie Howe 2 in the the NHL Legends 7 line, in October.

Is it every other game for the SCFs like it appears to be? If so, lets finish this off in Pittsburgh. As much as I'd like to see the Cup won on home ice, I'd rather not chance a game seven with O'Halloran blowing the whistle...or not blowing it.

Wouldn't it be nice if the best refs could be somehow agreed upon by the teams, and only THEY were allowed to work Cup games? From what I understand, Pens have a bit of a problem with Dvorsky, and we sure as hell have a problem with O'HellIBlewAnotherOne. It's a shame that these two guys are allowed to affect the game with that kind of stigma hanging around them.
