IIRC MacDonald was supposed to be the goalie of the future. Now it's Howard... hmmm. Osgood was the last goalie to make it up the ranks. That says something. Howard will be traded before training camp 2009.

Can't argue that, by the point still remains that trans-Atlantic leagues are a big ball of fail. Plus the NHL can barely keep it together on one continent. Technically, though World League was in the states as well and all renditions of the league have failed.
