hmmm.... Quincey was that hot Griffin on the big club last year getting praise. This year it's Helm. Future's looking bright. Edit: Why is it hockey players look like they're in junior high school till in their mid-20s? I've never been able to figure this one out.

Foxsports is leaving it open for an Osgood suspension for a butt end before the slash. No suspensions or retribution till next season. Then it'll be fun and face mask free. (unless bouncing Dallas from the playoffs count for some)

If I had to guess, I would say because of attendance issues. NYI and NJD are both red headed stepchildren in the New York market with ranger fans giving bumps in attendance to both.

I'm of the opinion that the Rangers and Devils overachieved this year. Thanks in part to the southeast being so awful.

Not every team is built like the Wings. In general I prefer Eastern Conference hockey. They play with more dislike for the other team.
