For CBC it's likely lack of interest from viewers asking for it. For TSN though, it might have something to do with it's ties to ESPN.

Detroit had iso-cams in the last 2 rounds. It's... interesting to watch and you tend to see more penalties that should be called.

In public defend your employees, behind closed doors 2 to the gut. There is no reason for infighting to be laid out for all to see, no matter how much like a disfunctional family the NHL is run.

You are aware that 16 teams have been in the NHL playoffs since the 79-80 season when the league only had 21 teams right? Or that during the "Original 6" period, four of the six teams went to the playoffs? Or that during '68 expansion saw 8 of 12 teams advancing to the playoffs? That is the beautiful thing about the NHL playoffs, anybody has a chance to win the whole damn thing. If it were just the tops seeds that were contenders we might as well start shooting baskets.

They seem to play uncomfortable in OT. Tonight, they really only seemed to click when they were on the powerplay in OT1.

Fighting majors don't result in 4-on-4 play. Also Downey only received an additional 2 minutes (Lappy fight) once during the 07-08 season per hockeyfights.com. He wasn't a detriment to the team while playing. ????????? That video is pretty damning. I wish there was another angle available. 7-10 games for seems right imo. This would be his first suspension iirc.
