I dare say that scoring a ton of goals has been called boring and dull by many a board member here. (Or a couple that constantly bang the drum) but I digress... If the Devils or Wild were to score a ton of goals, the trap would still be boring for most to watch. Puck possession is a but a few rungs up the ladder from the trap unless it's your team doing it. Though, I certainly wouldn't turn off a Wings game because of it.

That he does. Less OT losses, and a crapload of less goals allowed too. Still calling for a tandem.

Conklin has more wins, more shutouts, better save %, and lower goals against average. That said a tandem would be best imo

And Cherry's airtime and ratings just went up a little bit.

AO shows this thing called passion and has fun at the NHL level. Fun, passion, and even villians are needed to make the game something other than a bunch of bots on the ice.

iirc each owner supplies a list of dates that are bad for them to host a game. The league then puts those into a computer and it kicks out the schedule.

College Hockey follows won't necessarily equate to fans putting down NHL type dollars. Though, the time and moderate success it would take to uild up a franchises following to Green Bay's level would require teams remain where they are for another deccade at least imo.

Also, SLC couldn't support the AHL team they did have. It's now a ECHL franchise. Edit: Though I was kinda serious about my earlier San Juan post.

And what type of cooperate sponsorship are you going to get out of Wisconsin? Look at the Devils... crap fanbase, but good sponsors.

San Juan. You get 2 new mid-major cable networks to tap into to offset lower ticket prices. Largely untapped corperate sponsors available. NHL ready arena already. Easy place to lure players to.

Lack of advertising revenue due to poor ratings could result in higher ticket costs. Plus low ratings puts the ball in the TV stations court when it comes to negotiating contracts.
