You kiddin man? The only wings jersey i own is an Yzerman jersey. I have one thing hanging on my wall in my room, and that is a picture of Yzerman. Yzerman will always be my favorite wing ever. Yzerman came in and turned this franchise around with other key peices. If the Wings had not drafted him we definetly wouldnt have won in the 90's IMO. Idk how else to put it, its Yzerman.

I went to this middle school from 01-02 to 03-04. I wish they would have come after the 02 championship. Chauncey Billups and some other player came there, i guess that was cool. This would have been amazing. White Pine Middle School ill try and find some pics and post. im sure they will be on the school site sooner or later. I saw a pic on one of the school teachers camera phone. It had Draper, Ozzy, Cleary, Lebda and the Cup in the middle, with all the kids surrounding. It looked like a huge on ice photo. But it was on the gym floor.

The NHL isnt really stealing players. They want to come play here. Simple as that. as for the global league... idk. It would be kinda cool. But I dont think I would like it. It would be cool to call the Wings the best team in the World, reather than best in the NHL. And i dont get that last statement in that quote. How does the players coming here, make it so europe cant produce good players?
