So the Wings were injured all of Jan. And though having many star players out, I think they did just fine. February consists of 14 games half of which are against the east. With our stars coming back this month and looking at the sched i believe this month is going to separate the wings from the rest of the pack in the west. That is if jimmy steps up. thats my only concern... Thoughts?

Last year we were hit pretty hard with injuries. Its not like were totally depleted of our roster now.. but its Datsyuk were talking about. hes has missed what.. 3 games since 07? been one of our top producers and makes everyone around him better. lets say he is out for 5 weeks? how do you think the wings will do without him? IMO i say they rally to the fact that a star player is out and people need to step up. i say they will be fine and continue to win. Players will step up. Discuss

if the wings truley struggle without him.. then he comes back and the team is alive again... then he wins it hands down. thats just a senario that i wouldnt really like to happen. but i think he will still be considered no matter what.

HES A BUM!!! no but seriously. He just didnt fit right with the Wings. I think the Wings are better off without him. I dont see anybody on our current roster that i would replace for him... except maybe hudler.
