I dont know how many of you watch Around The Horn on ESPN, because there is little to no hockey included. (I watch because I am also a general sports fan) But Tim Cowlishaw won today and said something along the lines of "Look at how great the eastern cofrence NBA is, 8 gms separarte the teams. And look at how close the NHL Eastern conference is, 8 pts separate the teams. It would be great if things could work out in the NHL" I was pretty suprised to hear "NHL" on Around the horn. Then the host of the show, Forgot his name, put down the NHL and said, "You summed it up by saying , If things could ever work out in the NHL" I think people not paying attention to hockey comes from sports analysists constantly saying something negative about it. What do you guys think?

Idk if this has ever been done on here before, but I want to know who on here has been a wings fan for the longest time. Ive been a fan my whole life (1990) growing up in michigan. I watched the wings bring home the cup in 97 and 98, But I really didnt start watching every game and following the team until I was 11. Which was the 2001/02 season, and we all know what happened that season. So be honest, who here is the longest time redwings fan?

Kudos to the Hawks. I hate Chris Pronger with a passion. And i might sound classless, but he would be the first one to do it to someone else. I wish he had punched him in the jaw and messed it up even more. After what he did to Homer in the playoffs, ive wished someone would do what Stevie Y did.

I was planning on doing that at the game last night. There really were not much empty seats, so it was pretty hard to scope for them. But we were in the 5th row of the upper bowl, the seats were really not bad. Ive moved down to the lower bowl before tho. If you can find some then go for it.

Id say that is a pretty legit list. The wings do have the most widespread fan base tho. You see so many wings jerseys in the stands on road games. And they sometimes get the Lets Go Red Wings chant going in the other teams arena.
