PHX is my second favorite team since their Logo change. Plus I've always like how Doan plays. I like seeing PHX do well, just not as much so against my Wings. I'm going for the wings till death, but if PHX takes us out I can be happy with extending our playoff streak and hoping for PHX to go all the way. I think its always better to get beat by the champions than someone who just made it further than you. So i'll be hoping they make it all the way if they take us out. As for hating teams I still hate the PENS, I always will hate the PENs. I almost hate them more than I hated the Avs, and its hard to hate Anahiem when I live 15mins from Honda Center.

I can't Explain at how I feel. I love all our players, but one period of hockey wont win games. 34 seconds for a Championship! Hit them don't let them hack at your goaltender! Then explain the wings falling and losing their edges so much. My entire hockey team all came to that same conclusion. Bad soft ice can kill teams. NBC said "Pittsburgh's ice is about at par. PITs best players: The really soft s***ty ice. (mo wonder PITs so hard to beat at home) All the sticks they slashed with and broke. I counted 7 alone in the third. the iron. If you believe for one second that Homers stick which is an inch off the ground and barely touching his pad is bothering Marc-Andre then maybe you should be watching basketball instead where you can't touch at all. If Marc-Andre wasn't beat already then he would have know that the puck wasn't going toward his pads and it was going top corner..

I bet if Tom Yorke from Radiohead went on American Idol the judges wouldn't let him go to Hollywood whereas people who actually know music claim him and the band as one of the world's musical Idols. The same applies to sports networks and shows. Footballs popular and thats all ESPN talks about all day everyday. Finally a thought on what brings down hockey's popularity. Everyone can run, but not everyone can skate therefore hockey is the hardest to play and learn. Plus hockey players wear and use the most gear making it expensive. If you don't play the sport you kind of have a hard time enjoying it. There are some exceptions, but I think those reasons contribute to the lack of popularity in hockey.

We were the second place team in the league last year too and we didn't win it. Regular season really means nothing. We've established what we need in pretty much very topic: size and grit. Thats how Anaheim beat us. If you think they beat us because their goals were pretty then I'm a model for GQ. It would be nice to have Vinny, but I'd rather have McCarty back instead.
