I followed my rituals which won us games 1 and 2. Apparently I just can't be at home for a game, and I can't wear my Zetterberg jersey during the game. Which really sucks, but I'm glad its getting us wins.

so uh yeah, that *special* bracelet i had made with the red, white and purple in it fell off into the toilet yesterday at work, and i was not going fishing for it. But the Wings won tonight, so its all good. I'll post pictures sometime tomorrow.

One of the girls at work asked me "do you really have that many best friends?" and I explained to her what the bracelets meant. But other than that, i haven't had to explain anything.

So i woke up this morning after double knotting the sucker, and my white bracelet is off my wrist, and in the garbage can next to my bed. It's a sign that white bracelets just don't belong.

Does Zetterberg shave even when its taking over his face? No. So we'll keep adding bracelets no matter what. if need be i will have 28 bracelets on my arm. or maybe 14 on each. if it gets to that point.

So last week, part of my exam was to put together a website based on a subject of my choice. Of course i did the wings, and my professor gave me a big 100% and and even bigger GO WINGS!!! All over my papers. I had to crack up.

Agreed that tonight is gonna be a tough one. I'm expecting the preds to become even more physical in their own house, and the boys are gonna have to match them hit for hit. Mac is really gonna have to prove that he's not gonna take any of too too's crap. With that said, I've got my shirt and jersey ready, and my professor knows that she has me til about 7:15, at which point, I'll be flying out the door, and heading home for the puck drop. I'm frustrated that you are the only person making a huge deal out of this, while the rest of the members on this site have done nothing but support the idea. Seriously what is your problem? Is it that hockey is a "man's" sport, and bracelets just aren't masculine? Cause this isn't just for the females. I have MALE friends, who can't grow a beard, or aren't allowed to grow a beard because of work, that have proudly jumped on to this idea, because its a way to support your team. Isn't that what any of this is all about anyway? We're just supporting the Wings. This string theory as you call it, has already gone over well. 12 pages on here, its over on the official detroitredwings.com forums, it has its own facebook group, it's been on sports websites all over the internet, it's been on 971theticket.com's webpage, its been talked about on LIVE RADIO on magic 105.1, and has spread to other NHL team's fans. I'd say it's gone over pretty well, unless you want something major like an actual player or an anouncer endorsing the idea. We don't take the braclets off whenever we want, they come off when they get knocked out or the day after winning the Stanley Cup, just like a beard. We add one for each loss, the only reason why we are doing red and white, is so we don't get compared to people who believe in Kahbalah. Rabs and 55fan, I love you both.
