This is going to be the first year, where i'm not always gonna be able to do my normal rituals, so I'm gonna have a new one for work. Work Nights: Black Goalie t-shirt under scrubs, of course the new tradition of the red and white bracelets, and catching most of the game as possible. Nights at home: Zetterberg jersey on, hair back in a ponytail with a red band in, new tradition of the red and white bracelets, and I have to be sitting in the chair closest to the tv on the right. (Also closest to my parent's room, waking my mom up when I scream... Sorry mom.) IF they make it to the finals, and are at a game point where they could win the stanley cup, I bake. 97- cake with AL the octopus on it. 98- Brownies with chocolate frosting and purple sprinkles 02- cupcakes with red frosting and white sprinkles.

You're doing good so far. Braiding is really just weaving each strand under and over each other. Once you get the hang of it, it will be really easy. But in all honesty, just because i braided mine, doesn't mean you have to braid yours. do whatever you want, you could sit there with two strands and just use them to tie knots over and over again.

Bumping this thread up so it doesn't get lost in the mix. I used a braided chain technique to make the bracelets a little thicker since I need mine to be stronger than a single string with where I work. One of each is made for Thursday night's game. Hopefully on Friday I will be making another red one. LET THE PLAYOFF'S BEGIN!!!

I NEED one of those!!!! My best friend is getting married tomorrow, and im part of the bridal party. Right now im running on about 3 hours of sleep and the rehearsal starts in about 3 hours and then i have to drive to lansing to pick up my boyfriend.

So I posted this idea over on the official detroit red wings forum, and got a couple responses from some ladies that like the idea, and are gonna join in, one response from wingfan40 who thought it seemed all to familiar and this really particular post from a female ducks/wings fan. --------- Like that idea i think it is extremely intelligent... Watch out though Soon people are gonna take that for their team... I have my own playoff rituals for the Ducks but i think that the bracelets if the media catches on will soon be known NHL Wide---------- How cool would it be, if the media knew about this, and the bracelets caught on to be known NHL wide???
