I hope they do it again this year. if I can I'll go again. I went to Joe Vision for game 6 last year, and the only experience that could have been better than that would have been to see them lift the cup at home. The Red Wings organization did a wonderful job at making it feel like the Wings were at home. The horns blared and the torches lit up every time the wings scored, and I had leftover glitter in my car for months. The fans who were there were great, didn't matter if we knew each other or not, everyone was hugging and giving high fives.

Reiterate, and had the Wings actually swept their series as well, this thread would have never happened. I guess you can't tell a paranoid person, not to be paranoid. They'll just be more paranoid because you told them not to be paranoid.

It's not that they are waiting til after the Pens series, they are waiting until both teams finish with their current series. It was posted Monday, the Pens did not win their series until tonight, and the Wings could possibly win theirs tomorrow night. Should the Wings win tomorrow night, the Pens will have 1 more day of rest than the Wings. If the Wings don't win tomorrow night, it's June 5th. Had the Wings swept the Hawks in 4 games, we would have had 2 days more rest than the Pens. From the business aspect, it is a dumb decision to have all that time off between series. People lose interest. Ratings drop. It's not a conspiracy, its a business decision.

my white bracelet for game 6 fell off last night after I put my game 7 red bracelet on. I guess it didn't want to be there. lol. None the less, I need to make a new white bracelet to replace it, and then i will post a new picture. I must say my wrist is starting to fill up nicely.

From a hockey family, watching the Wings when I was growing up was just the way it was. Everybody watched hockey, everybody played hockey. My mom has video of when I was probably 1 1/2 -2 yrs old with a bottle in one hand, and pumping my other hand and screaming "scores" after a goal. It's just been a way of life for me.

I'd have to agree. My boyfriend and I were down at the Joe for the game, and the only thing that would have been better than being at the Joe would to have been at the Mellon. My hand got slapped so many times that night from high fives that it was still sore the next day. I had glitter in my car for months!
