EXACTLY.

Then why waive May already? I thought the point of that was to make room. Why would they only do half the work? Did they change their mind halfway through? haha. This stuff is CONFUSING lol
-
Whoa whoa whoa, have their been talks about waiving Eaves?!?!?! i love this kid and would be upset if he left. I thought if anything, he would be the Wing to be put on the IR, i didnt know gettign rid if him altogether was an option at this point. Did i miss something??
-
This was kind of what i was trying to say. Theres no way that Helm is ganna replace Flip cause they dont pay the same game. Is flip the best player on the team? No,. But you cant replace him with Helm.
-
Not really sure what games hes watching that show Helmer is as good as Flip, but they arent the same games im seein. Like you said Helm is a GREAT player when it comes to speed and defense, but he does fall quite a bit and like i said cant really find the back of the net, regardless of who is playing with as linemates.

Def not Kronner on the IR. They just said on NHL live that he is planning on playing tomorrow as we as playing in the Olympics. Gotta be someone else. i dont think Eaves on the IR + May being waived would make enough room for Lilja would it?
-
They just announced it and it is live...maybe i heard it wrong?

Yeah i was just ganna post this.

Im not overly impressed with Flip, i think he has so much more potential and im getting antsy waiting for him to live up to id. With that said, if hes moved that would suckkkkk -
Yeah it must suck to get paid MILLIONS and not even have to actually earn them. haha. I get what you are saying though.
-
How would they get him for only 1.5 or less????
-
Just annouced it on NHL live too.
-
Wasnt bertuzzi on the IR still when we traded forhim a few seasons ago? or am i mistaken?
-
I dunno i would have a hard time rooting for that guy. Although i love Avery, so maybe im just weird.
-
Ive seen him take way to many cheap shots over the years. Not a fan. I would be pretty disgusted if Kenny thought this guy was what the Wings needed.
-
Bite your tongue sir. I pray that he will never ever come here. Hes nothing but a goon.
-
Maybe they were there looking at san jose?
-
I was ---- that close to getting me a Hossa jeresy when he was here. But something told me not to. Tell me, what was the Hawks record during this 9-0 winning frame? haha
-
Welcome to Thunderdomeeeeeeeeeeeeee. haha i think that might be to aggressive and cause to many injuries. why not just see how 4 0n 4 Ot works until we have a winner? opens the ice up for skaters, but wont come down to a skills competition, which i find dumb. I get the point of a shootout in that its suppose to be exciting but it just sucks to see teams that fights and scratches their way to a tie to get beat because they dont have players that focus on a 1 on 1 skill competition basis. I just dont see how that is a testiment of how a TEAM game should be determined. Would i have a different opinion if the wings had a better Shootout record? Maybe. But i can definetly see both sides at this point.
-
Ill start right now if it means we can beat the sens on sat and pull ahead of Calgary (Assuming they lose). we need all the wins we can get. I wont shave till after the sens game and if we win i wont shave till we are out of the playoffs.
-
Dunno what he was trying to do on san jose's goal with 10 seconds left in the first. not sure why he was inside the crease leaving the Sharks player wide open with an empty net. He shows some shades of brilliance, but more times that note lately its been bone headed plays like this.

"Nuclear Eruption from Alexander Ovechkin"
Hank Dats 'N Homer replied to wingsdiehard13's topic in General
Yeah you are right, things never catch up with a young healthy guy that plays with wreckless abandonment on and off the ice. Im not saying i want him to get injured or anything, im just saying ive seen alot of careers go down the crapper when guys with all this skill (which already marks him as a target by many teams) adds to the factors by playing hard. Do i want him to play like a ***** like crosby? no, i love his enthusiasm and passion. Ive just seen him make some bad decisions on and off the ice that worry me about his future. Thats all i was trying to say. -

I woke up today and after a big yawn the first thing that popped in my head was the number 93. I think Franzen is ganna have a huge night and will lead us to victory tonight. He always shows up in big games and i think playing SJ is always a big game. Heres to the Mule doing us proud. :beerbuddy:
