Can someone ban this guy already? Hes just trolling and some how hes been getting away with it for the past few days. Also his terrible grammar is making me sick. I beleive you mean you're.....then again you are the man that coined the phrase "your an asshat" so maybe its something ill just have to get used to...someone get this "asshat" out of here.

Oh i definetly watched the video. every compliment he made he followed up with an insault taking away everything from the compliment he just said. He liked the pyro but dogged on the music. He said we played awsome in the first two games but followed that up with the insault of calling Zetterberg Jake Gyllenhaal for some reason? Than followed that up by that spoof on Z. Yeah i watched the full movie. Thanks though. fun loving and mild mannered righttt....you can try and convice us over and over again, but its pretty obvious by the responses that you have gotten from everyone else that no ones buying your koolaide so quit trying to sell it.

No, this is not another "bring him back" thread ....(even though i wouldnt mind getting him back haha). I was just wondering since he is a FA this summer has their been any talk about negotiations with NY? I thought he was pretty happy there and i thought they like him, but i havent heard anything. If not, does anyone know any team that is still interested or is it time for shanny to hang them up?

If you are looking for good deals going to a place like Joe Louis or Hockeytown cafe/authentics are bad ideas. The only things you will get good deals on at those places are on robert lang or Manny Legace or Shanahan jerseys. If you want current gear your best bet is to go to places that dont specifically specialize in wings gear. Places like meijers or walmart come to mind. If you go to a Dunhams sports its usually a little cheaper there as well. My favorite place to go is a place on 16 and grosbeck called "Game Land". They specialize is card playing and detroit sports stuff. I used to go there all the time because their jerseys were always on sale for about 90 bucks compared to the regualr 130-140. Dicks sporting goods can have some good prices if you can catch them at the right time. I got Western Conference champs gear half off. Got the hat and shirts for like $13 a piece.

alright bro, i changed my post so that it doesnt reflect anyone other than myself. You are no longer included in my post seeing as we share different defintions of trolling. To me, posting videos that mock, make fun, or take away from the skill of the red wings players, and than the same person implies that their player is the star of the NHL and that noone else comes close....that to me is trolling. Than calling other people "asshats" for having a different opinion on a board that you are a visitor on....again that is trolling to me. But i can understand how you can not label that trolling, so im not going to argue with you about. I guess we will agree to Disagree because the last thing i want to do is make the "doggy" Angry. Sorry bro, didnt mean to clump you in with my opinions. Non the less i hold true to how i feel about this subject even if it makes me a "knob". I love crosby as much as the next guy. I placed my order for his jersey the day of draft day as soon as i knew where he was going for sure, and i got it a week later. When i wear it i wear it with pride. But this guy comes on here posting videos of some clown bashing our star player, that doesnt fly with me. Than he just gives praise to his Sid, and it drives me crazy. I never got the point of trolling. It just pisses off the fans, and has no affect on how the players play or change the outcome of the game. You dont see me on the pens forums posting people bashing the poster boy and all the Anti-pens videos. Its one thing to root for you're team, i have no problem with that....just do it on that teams boards.

You know im usually all for opposing teams fans coming on our boards and posting ....and i dont like to do personal attacks so ill try and make this is professional as possible. I've been reading your posts around here on the boards and every time i read one i think to myself "dont get mad, his next post will actually be a legit non "homer" post that has to do about hockey and not just about the penguins. Maybe his next post will mention the red wings in a possitive fashion. Maybe he will show someone on these boards a little respect seeing as he is on a RED WINGS forum." But i watched the whole 7 minute episode at the end of which he comes out and says hes never even played ice hockey ever, which to me, blows all credibilty of his out of the water. And the fact that you used that video to say thats why Zetterberg isnt the face of the NHL is pretty dumb in my book mainly because the movie had nothing really do with with Zetterberg other than merely making fun of his commerical. I apologize that he doesnt sound or act like hes going to jump out of his seat because he is in the finals. Our team has what you call composure, and if you knew anything about Hank you would know that he is a professional and he acts like it whether its on the ice, in an interview, or doing a commercial. well it sounds like homer is out as of right now. If true, we move Franzen to the first line which is going to knock some pucks in the net for sure, but our second line will be shot. Who are we going to bring it that can play homer/franzen type minutes? Downey wont be the right guy for the job. What about abdelkader, is he an option at this point? who who who....i dont want to have to go back to be a one line team again, right when our secondary scoring has been Awesome.

i think it would be awesome to bring sundin in. He would be a great addition to our second line. I'd feel 100% better about our second line if sammy was off of it and we had a hall of famer taking his spot? Him and franzen would be a beastly combo. However, we did just sign some new fin that suppose to be pretty good, as well as abdelkader who i really want to see next season. So....if it happens cool if not no biggy.

very excited about this, but id hate that we would have to give up our new years eve game cause those are usually pretty fun. and also i think this would ruin our chances as Detroit to host any outdoor game for the next 20 odd years. You have to figure every team will have to play in an outdoor game before detroit can do so again, and if they only do it once a year that could be a lonnnnng time before we get a chance to host it.

Thats exactly what me and my girlfriend are going to do if we can snag some tickets! my bro got tickets for like 10 bucks one time on the train to chicago. Not to shabby. I'd spend more than that on gas pulling out of my driveway! i'm sure they will be more expensive though around christmas time...kind of sucks, but still going to be worth it!

i knew McGinley and chelli were friends but i had no idea that they hung out with the likes of danza cusack and the others. Thats kind of cool. I found it really weird that they hung out with Kid rock because when i think if Kid rock i think of him as well.....a kid haha. Hey, i dont know how many of you like myself went out the morning after we won the Western Conference Championship to purchase some of the locker room hats and were just shocked to see that they wanted 30 bucks for the hats. Well needless to say i didnt buy one that day, but my dad just called me today telling me that the Dicks Sporting Goods store in Troy has cut their prices in half and are selling them for $13.99. I dont know if this is a store wide kind of thing or just the one in troy, but i thought i would let you all know just incase you were as broke as me and couldnt bare to spend 30 bucks on the hat.

I paused it as soon as i saw lemieux's name and face to make sure i didnt see a crosby figure superimposed into the background or something...and nothing, so im even more convinced than ever that this is not a true NHL Commerical!

i'm convinced that this commercial was not made by the NHL. How do i know this? No Sidney Crosby! Therefore, must have been made as a hoax! It is terrific though!

I might be JR biased, but i like this signing. Many of you are saying he is done because his numbers have dropped, but many players numbers drop and they are still very usefull to their team. Yzermans numbers dropped towards the end of his career, but he still brought tons of leadership to the team along with experience when it comes to adversery and playoffs. Now i am in NOWAY comparing Roenick to Yzerman, im just using him as an example to show that numbers dwindle at the end of careers. I just dont think you can look at just numbers when it comes to a players contribution to a team. Roenick brings grit to the team, and alot of veteran leadership. This team for the most part is still quite young, and having that experience might be a good thing for them )as it was this year). Now with that said is he going to play all 82 games? Probably not. Is he going to be a healthy scratch for some games? More than likely. But in my opinion hes a good guy to have on the team.
