I dont fully understand the game as of yet, so i would like to throw my hat in the ring for two positions. Once i understand the game better ill chose which i would like to do. GM (im not sure whats taken and whats not, so in this order) 1)Stars 2)Flames 3)Boston 4)Canes I know you cant be a GM and an Agent, but i am going to put my name in for both and once i get more info il chose which one i want to be as long as thats cool with everyone else. Superstar: Heatley Superstar: Vinny Midlevel: Paul Stastny Midlevel: Mike Ribeiro Journeyman: Roenick (if he stays) if not than Nolan (im not great at ranking who is superstar midlevel, so if there is a problem with any of that just let me know.) Again im going to try and learn more rules abotu the game and than ill make my decision.

This just looks weird. Doesnt look like homer at all. The top of the glass or whatever that is going accross his face makes him look like someone else is wearing his jersey! He kinda looks like Drake in that pic haha. Or maybe the Avs kidnapped the real homer because we were slaughtering them and they put that guy in his place.....franzen better watch out in game three before they try to do the same to him! Also, who are the players that you got pics of in their cars? I cant quite make them out?

I would love the HD version if you got it. Might make a sig with it in there and the better the quality the better the sig. But dont go out of your way or anything. If its quick and easy than i would love it...

I hope its not as bad as it looked. I dont want to play a deflated Avs team. I want everyone in the lineup. I would like it better if we won and beat their A team, rather than a deflated B team. With that said, i hope Floppa is broken for good hahaha. I just dont like the guy. But Wolski, Hannah Theodore...even floppa....I hope its not to serious, feel better and get back in the game soon! Anyone have an update?

Exactly how it is with me and my dad. The only two things we can talk about without the akward pausing are the Red Wings and the Tigers. But im glad we have it, i know some familes that dont have ANYTHING to talk about. Plus father and son relationships are weird once the kid tunrs 18 or so, you have to work harder at it to show that you love eachother since saying it is not manly haha. But to be honest, i wouldnt have it any other way. Sharing something that i love with someone that i love is 20 times better than just saying i love you to him.

I understand that the line hasnt played together in forever. That wasnt even really the point of my post. I just thing that maltby is a very important piece of the puzzle because of his skill in the defenseive zone and his PK play. Malts is not the guy you put on the ice for secondary scoring. Thats why you have flip, huds, cleary, and franzenstein. You can count on a few points from malts, dont get me wrong, he can still score. But when you put Malts on the ice its to shut down the opposing teams offense. Ask any player in the league. The best offense a team can have is a strong Defense.....say what you want about his agitator style, i think it is still very productive. He finishes all of his checks, but hes not out there to hurt people like Tootoo or as flashy or as in the open as Avery, so his agitating styles go under the radar. I've seen numerous interviews of oposing teams players this season that were complaining about Malts and his line and how they just shut things down. I remember on one occasion Malts had like 3 or 4 blocked shots in a row in a third period 5 on 3 with a 1 goal league. You could see the oppsing team getting frustrated banging their sticks on the ice. I dunno, im a huge Malts homer, so i look for these kinds of things so maybe thats why i see them more than some people. But if you were to actually look for it you would see the same things. Not to mention maltby has always played his best in the playoffs which is why i think he should play if hes healthy...

I dont want to scare you or anything.....but what is your adress because i am going to steal that little boy! haha. That is the cutest thing i have ever seen. Thats how im going to raise my boys! Its hard to pick one, so i have two. First off is how hockey inspires Unity and brings people together. Some of the best relationships i have are grwon stronger and stronger infront of the Tv watching the wings. My father, my brother, and me dont always have the best ways of showing that we love eachother well because we are guys and guys dont have the most productive way of showing it. But when those wings come on, we are all in front of the big screen screaming and yelling, slapping hands, it just brings us all closer together, and i love that. Also the relationship i have with my girlfriend has grown so much stronger for our combined love of the sport. We got together over 3 years ago, and it was around the lockout year, so we didnt really talk about hockey that much so neither of us knew of the love of the sport that we both had. But we soon figured it out, and we have been in love ever since haha. The sport just unites people and brings everyone closer together! Secondly, i love a sport where an average joe somebody can turn into a god/legend. Its a sport where you can take a boy that is 5'10 160 lbs soaking wet, no rippling muscles, scrawny, cant grow facial hair, and not the strongest skater, and as soon as he touches NHL ice for the first time, destiny seems to step in and transform this boy into something unhuman, something godlike.....Theres something about this godlike creature that happens season after season that makes him seem even more inhuman whether it be a knee injury that would end the career of an average man, but only keeps him out for half a season, or perhaps a hockey puck to the eye that would blind a simple man....but the most amazing thing that this creature did was he took the weight of his entire team, hell, an entire State.....and put it up on his shoulders. He carried this weight for almost 13 seasons before he restored not only the team but the whole State of Michigan to glory. I know everyone knows of whom i speak, but just so there is no confusion i am speaking of the boy, no, the man, no the LEGEND, no the GOD Steve Yzerman! He apitamizes what hockey means to me and why i love it so! There will never be another like him.....

QFT. I think he is a valuable part to any type of team and it would hurt even a team of our caliber to not have him suited if he was healthy. Our we going to win or lose the series on whether or not he plays? No, probably not. But it would make a victory much easier with a guy like Malts in the lineup. It would take some of the PK pressure off some of our top line guys, and would make osgoods job a little easier with blocking shots and being stron in the defensive zone. Not to mention he looks good on a line with Mac and draper.....reminds me of something speical from the past but i cant quite put my finger on it...

Wow....and ive played hockey for 12 years myself. Now i never made it to a "much higher level" but that doesnt mean that me or the other 99.9% of people on this board dont know hockey just as much as you do. If you are telling me that a guy that is on our PK line who goes out there, blocks shots left and right, checks, forechecks, and agitates the opposing team, and ocassionally puts the puck in the net or on a stick of another guy that puts the puck in the net iss a NON -FACTOR, than i guess, yeah, Maltby, draper, McCarty, Downey, Drake, Lilja, these are all NON-FACTORS and should be cut and replaced with players like Sammuelson or something. Totally agree with you! And just for the record......if Maltby is a NON-FACTOR and plays in the NHL on the best team in the league....and you never made the NHL .....than what does that make you and how does it make you better than any of us losers that never played a higher level of hockey? Just wondering....
