Are all teams presenting their new jerseys tonight at the draft? I know the blue jackets are, they have been advertising that for weeks i was just wondering if all team would have their jerseys on display tonight.

Does anyone have any stats on the draft prospects? I keep hearing things on alot of these players but i dont know what kind of stats they have put up for their teams so far. I know the stats wont mean much once they hit hte NHL i would just like to see what everyone is doing. I keep hearing good things about this akim kid. Anyone know anything good about him or any other of the players?

this kid really doesnt get alot of respect around the league, but every Ottawa game, and i mean EVERY Ottawa game that i watch i always see him make some kind of game changing play, his style of play is phenominal. Hes got a scorers touch, but plays with emotion and can hit. Hes an all around player and is growing into one of my all time favorties. What are everyones thought on this guy? (PS He has moved even higher up on my favorite players list after the monsterous hit he put on Corey Perry tonight! I HATE perry!!!!)

I guess hes just inderated in my book because i dont see all the press he gets. None the less from waht i see from him i guess im just suprised i dont hear more about him.

exactly. This topic has come to a close with that statement alone. Maltby is hockeytown, and one of the best Pk'ers in the league, Hes here fro the next 3 years atleast. So for those of us who are estatic that we got him for another 3 years at a cheap price HOORAY, for those of you who dont want him....get used to it, because hes not going anywhere. Dont worry though, when our PK is restored to its greatness of a few years ago, we will still allow you to cheer for Maltby...

Is there a list out there of possible Free Agents this year? Just trying to see whats out there. If i recall last year, Holland didnt really do much during the Free Agent market because he said "the Free agent market after the 07 season was going to be a much better pool" so im just trying to see what the "pool" he spoke of has. Anyone?

Did you watch this years playoffs by chance? Or for that matter, any year the wings have made the playoffs since matlby has joined the team? or for that matter any regualr season game that maltby has played in? Foolishy signed him?
