Yuk, those are some bad lines...whats with the homer and bertuzzi hate? I think they both played well enough to earn their spots for next season. Bert had glimpses of his old self alot this year and i think he can still play well enough to contribute. Homer is Homer. Had a decent season for his age and still the best at what he does. Id bring him back and not on the whacky fourth line...

Man, Miller has been getting away with alot ths game. Hes been out of position a couple times and would be beat by a flyers player but hes been tripping and pushing them over instead. Not sure how he keeps getting away with it. Hes making alot of contact outside the crease and not getting called for it

Yeah i hear ya, and feel the same way. But it just erks me sometimes. Maybe i am a snob when it comes to some things. Haha Anyways, got a feeling Bertuzzi gets going tonight and Franzen continues to return bqck to his playoff form. I havent heard anything yet on Zetterberg, heard he was a game time decision but wouldnt it be dumb to put him in tonight even if he is ready? With the yotes facing elimination they dont have much to lose and are ganna be head hunting our best players. Putting an injured Z on the ice just puts a target on his chest. Any updates?

I would want Doan as well but didnt want to be the first to say it and get killed lol. I know hes kind of dirty, especially lately, but ive always loved watching him play. To me he is the definition of an old time hockey player. Good leader, can hit, can score. He can change a game all by himself. With that said, i hope the wings kick the crap out of him and the rest of the yotes tonight.

This may not be a game day post, but this has been bugging me for a while. I dont consider myself a Red Wings snob, but maybe i am one. Recently, since about a week before playoffs started, people have come out of the wood works and are all big Wings fans now. I see people posting on facebook everyday now about the wings and playoffs and everything and even when im out i see people sporting wings attire. Im happy to see all the support, i mean this is hockeytown and all. But i guess im just a little more than annoyed because these guys and girls on facebook posting about the Wings obviously have never watched a regular seqson game nor could they explain the rules on hockey. And when i try to strike up conversations with these people in Wings attire they cant name even 2 current Red Wings. I dont know why this bothers me, it just makes me feel like we have a fan base like that of the Hawks and other fair weather fan teams. Does that bother anyone else or am i just being a selfish snob about our team? Haha Haha i saw that too. I was quickly trying to be the 200th post when i saw it was at 199 but it was locked which explains why 200 wasnt hit yet lol

After datsyuks crazy performance last game im looking at phoenix to try everything in their power to shut him down. In my book this leads to one of two scenerios....1) Datsyuk still plays out of his mind and goes through the entire coyotes team dangling eavh player out of their jocks or 2) Datsyuk remains quiet(and by quiet i mean he goes under the radar with 3 assists) and franzen and bertuzzi play out of their minds today. Either way, Wings take game three.

I like the idea of the scrubs stuff, but i have to say that those are two of the creepiest pictures i have seen...i cant even look at them for to long, i have to look away. haha

As i read and hear more and more about this kid i want him on the wings more and more. I havent seen him play myself, but it sounds like hes a big body with skill from what everyone has been saying. It excites me to see the wings get a guy like that, though considering hes so young and considering the organization he is playing in, we probably wont see him for quite some time. Does anyone have any videos of him or highlight reels? Id love to see it first hand.

I think people are more upset at the fact that a division rival has gotten better with the aquisition and the Wings are in the same boat we have been in since the begining of the year. I dont think anyone thought he was coming here, but, as a big Mike Fisher fan, im still a bit upset that he was on the move and it wasnt to Detroit. But mostly just upset about the fact that our divisional rival, that has been giving us fits the last few seasons, just got better before the trade deadline.

So wait, not only did the wings not get him (which sucks cause he was high on my wish list) but he is going to a division rivsl as well? Well atleast ill get to see him play more often...

You gotta take Stamkos if you actually are drafting in the hopes to win (take the best player available). If the teams dont really care about winning or losing (since winning the all star game does not come with any benefits) and you are just drafting to have fun and to put on a show than if you are Nick you have to pick Cam Ward first. Not the best goalie there, but it will get the Carolina fans on your side so they arent rooting against you. Staal will more than likely pick ward or Skinner to keep his fans on his side, so you gotta try and get ward if that is your strategy. If he wants to win though nick should go with stamkos for sure....and possibly see if there is a way to trade Kane for a player to be named later. Also, i dont know why, but the last few seasons ive had a huge man crush on claude Giroux and am really glad to see him make the games. I have a feeling he might have a really good night.

Pav would have to play double the defense if kovalev were to be on his line...

Can i put a vote in for mike underwood? I know hes not having a great season...but the sens are prerty bad this year so far. I think his production would go up on a better squad, though i wouldnt over pay for him...

Man i had high hopes this year with the new format, but man these "allstars" are a joke. Are these the teams? I didnt think they were selecting teams till later and i thought the draft would be televised. Did i miss it?

I cant seem to find the 2010 USA blue Olympic jerseys anywhere. All the websites i find are only selling the white, which i find a little weird. My brother wants a blue one for xmas, but i cant seem to find them anywhere. He doesnt want me to spend a ton of money on it but all the cheaper websites ive found dont offer them in blue. Anyone have any advice?
